Men of Valor

The creators of the original Medal of Honor take you back to explore the time of the Vietnam war. Playing as marine Dean Shepard, you travel through lush terrains and exotic landscapes to lead your AI controlled squad through jungles, tunnels and hooches while battling the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong. To recreate a cinematic feel, the gameplay uses many scripted events and licensed sixties music.

Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues

The Game only supports 4:3 Resolutions - you need to INI edit the Resolutions and FOV to get HOR+

Important Step: Go to ...\Men of Valor\VIETNAM\SYSTEM\ and Delete the File PROFILE_Shepard

Resolution edit: Go to --> ...\Men of Valor\VIETNAM\SYSTEM\defuser.ini and \Men of Valor\VIETNAM\SYSTEM\user.ini and put your des. resolution in:

FOV edit: Go to --> ...\Men of Valor\VIETNAM\SYSTEM\user.ini look for

DesiredFOV=85.000000
DefaultFOV=85.000000
VertSplitFOV=85.000000

and change it to 95 (for 16:10) or 101 (for 16:9)

Now in Game press F5 to get HOR+

Issues: The FMVs are always revert back to 4:3

Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues

Solution: same as in Widescreen - FOV should be 117

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues

Solution: same as in Widescreen - FOV should be 140 or bigger.

Issues: The HUD become much bigger
