Syndicate is a brutal FPS with linear maps but varied killing. As an Agent working for some omnipotent biotech corporation, it's with your chip-enhanced brain that you annihilate all opposition, man or machine - be it by defusing and collecting grenades, overloading electronic shields or forcing a bad guy to attack his buddies - in the carefully-executed blink of an eye. Old-fashioned manshooting, CQC fatalities and a touch of slo-mo/wallhack work wonders, too.

Syndicate features a solo campaign and a separate co-op/skirmish mode than can be played with up to 3 fellow Agents online.

Baseline (Widescreen) Solution & Issues

Native support.
Although some widescreen aspects and resolutions are not selectable in-game, like 15:9 or 1360x768, they seem to be detected and supported natively. Tweaking graphical details will not alter the resolution setting.




Ultra/Super-Wide (21:9/32:9) Specific Solution & Issues

Manual ini edit required.

Open the file in a text editor and look for the lines starting with...

VID_DWIDTH=
VID_DHEIGHT=

The HUD does not scale to the sides, its position is identical to 16:9.
Most of the real-time rendered cut-scenes are Hor+, but new enemy type appearences are Vert-.
