Sea Dogs is a pirate-themed RPG by Akella. Players can hire a crew and buy or capture ships, sign on as a privateer working for a European power, or become a pirate. It was succeeded by Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales, which continues the story with the children of Sea Dogs' main character.

Toy Soldiers is an action and strategy video game by Signal Studios.
Players control one of two armies of miniature toy soldiers on a World War I model diorama with wooden and plastic landscapes. The diorama is set in various locations, such as a child's bedroom, library and lounge, and objects such as dressers and reading lamps are at times visible in the background.
The game features 50 different controllable units including machine guns, mortars and tanks, with the fixed emplacements being upgradable to more powerful versions.

Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a physics-based puzzle video game developed by Toxic Games, and published to the Microsoft Windows platform with help from the Indie Fund, a group of successful independent game developers. The game, an expansion of a student project by the founding members of Toxic Games, was released in December 2011 and January 2012 through a number of digital distribution platforms.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a remake of the 1994 classic strategy game UFO: Enemy Unknown, also known as X-COM: UFO Defense. Unlike the previously announced XCOM by 2K Marin, this game will return to the strategic root of the X-COM series.

Alien Breed 2: Assault, like Evolution, is an isometric shooter set on board a futuristic spacecraft. In each level, the main character Conrad is given a series of tasks such as collecting key cards, restoring power, or escorting innocents, which he must complete before finding that level's exit. Standing in his way are a variety of aliens who will attack him, usually en masse. He can also suffer damage from explosions, fires, electrical disturbances, and enemy turrets. Conrad can run and shoot in all directions, and can collect a number of different weapons and items to aid him.
A bold attempt at resurrecting the first-person dungeon crawler genre, Grimrock combines tile-based movement with blow-and-cooldown combat, puzzles and RPG elements.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a single-player action role-playing game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Ken Rolston acts as the game's executive designer, R. A. Salvatore created the game universe and lore, with Todd McFarlane working on the artwork, and Grant Kirkhope creating the musical score. It wais developed by 38 Studios and Big Huge Games. The game was released on February 7, 2012 in North America and on February 9, 2012 in Europe. The first public demonstration was at the Penny Arcade Expo East 2011 on March 11, 2011.
