QuakeCon 2012

Howdy from QuakeCon 2012, down in Dallas, TX! Zencyde and I are out here hitting up the LAN. We are checking out some of the booths, and will hopefully get some video of things. I am rocking the WSGF Edition Monitor Stand (borrowing, thanks to Skip!), if anyone at the BYOC wants to check it out. Sadly, I only have one monitor on it, as I needed to get special permission to run a multi-monitor rig before hand (the QC trip was kind of last minute and I did not realize/think that I would need permission...BYOC Noob right here). Still, you can check out in person the unique 5 segment bar in person and feel how sturdy the stand is. Personally speaking, this is an amazing stand and might "loose" it, with a magic replacement "appearing" on my home desk. Sorry, Skip.

Speaking of the BYOC, none of this would be possible without the generosity of Plantronics. They hosted a contest for BYOC seats that I lucked out hardcore and won. We received many things as gifts as part of their VIP experiences, among which were the Plantronics GameCom 780s. These things are very nice. I will be doing a review of them eventually.
