Police Quest 4: Open Season is the fourth and final game in the epic Police Quest series of games by Sierra before the SWAT series began. The game was released in 1993.
The game is listed as Police Quest 4 (PQ4) in the manual. It is also shown in the file names and the credits, and when exiting the game in DOS, "Thank you for playing Police Quest IV: Open Season". The number does not appear on the title screen.

Police Quest 3: The Kindred is the third game in the epic Police Quest series of games by Sierra. The game was released in 1991.
In this game, the player is recast as police officer Sonny Bonds, set after the Police Quest 2 storyline, and takes the player on an adventure fighting crime in the fictional city of Lytton.
A new change for this third installment is a point and click interface, replacing the text based commands from the second game, and the annoying DRM of the second game has been dropped also.
