| it didn't work for me initially either. but i uninstalled and reinstalled the game, applied that fix he showed you, then update the game with the latest patches and then it worked for me. |

finally got it working by reinstalling the game, then applying the fix before i upgraded to the latest patches.
after i did the fix, then i upgraded to the latest version. now everything works perfect. i have true widescreen and the latest patch applied. awesome. |

i've tried and tried and tried to get this to work, and it simply will not work.
has EA made it to where it no longer works with the latest patches?
