@ The_cranky_hermit Yes I have all the usual widescreen resolutions available in windows. I'm running vista home prem 64-bit with the 7.10 64-bit catalyst drivers. I haven't tried any other games since I reinstalled vista and the crysis demo but I'll try a different game tonight. Notice that danylat...

Hey guys, I realise that the Crysis Demo natively supports widescreen, but for some reason or other the only native widescreen resolution I can select in-game is 1680x1050. Now being as beefy as the game is on hardware, I prefer to turn down the resolution just a notch and keep most of the eye candy...

Hi, this patch is great. Thanks to whoever made it! I don't really care too much bout fov, just as long as the picture is not stretched. I've been playing it at 1680 x 1050 and its been great, but something tells me im putting too much pressure on my gfx card (x800) with all the low frame rates I'm ...

you will be happy to know that actually you are wrong, there is no cropping at all :D It plays exactly as if the game were meant to play in widescreen the way I've got it set up. No stretching either. I will get a couple of screen shots for you in a while

Hi, it has probably been posted in these forums many times but once and for all I will clear up how to get battlefield 2 running in widescreen. I am using a 2005fpw with a radeon x800 xl. The following line is what I use in the bf2 link on my desktop: "D:GamesBattlefield 2 DemoBF2.exe" +menu 1 +wide...

this one is in 3D just like the previous one. A bit of a disappointment really, they only notable difference is that you can choose a hat for your team to wear.

It's ok, I can now tell you myself. This game DOES support widescreen natively. My Dell 2005fpw arrived this morning with no problems at all! WOW, I'm blown away.

As for the game, it's great like its predecessors and you just select the widescreen resolution before you start the game.

This is an extremely fun game and if you haven't yet played it I urge you to at least get the demo! I was skeptical but me and my nephews have an absolute blast with this game. It covers episodes 1, 2 and 3 and is built for co-op play which works a treat.
