EA just announced that they are bringing BF 2142 and some other EA games to the Mac platform. Since there are no 4:3 Macs in production, I wonder if this means that EA will finally bring native widescreen support to the BF series. It would be nice. |

Wow thank you! Red Faction looks and runs great now. Not sure why the links weren't getting through when I first checked though. On a completely unrelated note, my mouse cursor is all the way to the left on the screen, and my mouse is on the right edge of the mousepad, preventing me from moving my m... |

I have ATI Crossfire running on a Dell 24" and just reinstalled Red Faction after 4 years. the listed resolutions within the game only go up to 1280 X 1024. The only CFG file in the red Faction directory is unreadable by notepad or word. The only info I can find on this website regarding Red Faction... |

I have a Crossfire X850XT setup running on my Dell 24" and EQ2 runs with just a little lag for me. You can try running it be extending the letterbox option in the EQ2 UI and moving your chat and button windows into the black border areas, that might net you a few frames. |

Has anyone tried to use two monitors for gaming, but by using the secondary monitor as a chat/menu/map device? I think it would be cool to have a secondary monitor on some games, like MMOs, that displayed maps, chats, running stats and so forth. I think it would be a great idea to move some of the U... |

[quote] If you look at the box art on BF2 and BF2 SF, you will notice that some of the screenshots are in widescreen format. Whether or not thay are cropped images is anyones guess. All it would take for DICE to enable Widescreen format is for them to use the same resolutions that are in windows, b... |

I have posted on the EA forums and went a step further and called EA tech support. My cell phone went dead halfway through the call, but they followed up via email rather fast. When I finally got a human on the phone it was obvious that he didn't know an aspect ratio from a cow, since he kept trying... |

I can't get 1900 X 1200 to work in BF1942 :( I made the changes in every video.con file I could find, but it still loads up at 800 X 600. I did notice that my game profile, named OMAC, is not showing up in any of the files or folders. All I can see are Custom and Default folders. Am I doing somethin... |
