The hud scales properly and doesn't stretch. However your view is a mix of Hor + and Vert -
It's a moot point however, you can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel so it doesn't really matter one way or the other. |

[quote]I was having this same problem. I solved it by making a copy of my shortcut to regular BF2. Then I added +modPath mods/xpack +ignoreAsserts 1 to the end after the lines for my custom resolution. It loads the custom res now instead of just crashing to desktop. Okay, I'll try that, but to make... |

I imagine they'll get the FOV right. It's being co-developed for the Xbox 360 and that requires widescreen. |

Dice could also just easily allow letterboxed widescreen resolutions for people who 4:3 displays. |

I just checked. You can now see as much of your weapon as with a 4:3 resolution, but otherwise you get a cropped view of everything else. So improvement. |

I didn't test anything either, but I could have sworn I saw more of my medic's arm playing at 1280x768 as well. |

I saw these two lines at the bottom of the config:
[code]pvmodelaspect 1.2
pvmodelfov 65
I'm going to try and change the fov line and see if it does anything.
For 1280x768 fov should be 81.25 but I'll just try 81 |

So you have to use a cheat code to change it each time? That's annoying. |

So is there a solution or not? I'd like to reinstall the game but if I can be saved the trouble of discovering if there is WS or not by someone else that would be helpful. |
