Hey all

You can use a proxy server, not external program needed to activate.

Works a treat.

See you on the Battlefield

I really don't see what's the big deal with BF3. It was supposed to have uber destruction but they nerfed it back to be worse than BC2, once they got all the fanboys to preorder it after seeing the promo videos, now all the fanboys are screwed paid $60 for a PoS. So you have you played the alpha th...

Also, they gave me 2RAMSTICKS by mistake as well, so now I got 8GB instead of 4GB...

Then again, they must have appreciated my business enough to give it to me for free. Huzzah!

Hey thanks for the kinds words guys. I have decided to send away for a free quote to retrived data, worst case it costs me $20 in frieght to try it. Yeah, I did try that. I will also keep trying it as well. Not that I think it should matter, but I will ask anyway. The backup drive is a WesternDigita...

Just thought I would share this painful experience: I had my Personal Home PC HDD crash on Sunday night. "Not too worry" I hear you all say, "Surely Johnny would have backed up his shet wouldn't he?" Indeed I did, albeit 2 months ago but still good. Away I go and plug in the backup on an external ha...

In terms of visuals and details, yeah, we should have gotten that from the start. But given how the game was designed, a DX11 and Texture Pack isn't enough for me to seriously consider getting the game. Once a dev or company sells out to the console market, I ain't touching their stuff, ever. We ne...

The proplem with the multiplayer is that it is so slow paced. And what were Crytek thinking when they desided to put minimal player counts to "huge" maps. Camping isn't an effective tactic even in stealth mode as never actually encounter any enemy forces (eg. 6 guys). In crysis 1 there were actual ...

BF3 will have a port all right.. the console version will be ported from PC for a change.

I will believe that when I see it. I certainly won't be suckered into pre ordering ever again. I will wait for the reviews and forums feedback first.
