OK sorry. I would definitely try a Dell 2412m or HP ZR24w. Don't know what they cost in your place. With Eyefinity you have a very wide viewing angle and then TN sucks. But that's just my opinion. You may try inexpensive TNs like the ones you've listed. Its all about personal preference in terms of ... |

If money doesn't matter I would prefer an IPS-Panel from HP, Dell or NEC. And of course - monitors with displayport. I would also recommend 16:10 screens and the screens should have a thin bezel. A bezel like this Viewsonic has will disturb you. And do yourself a favour - don't by TN-Panels for an E... |

I wouldn't bet a Corsair 850W would power a 5970 Quadfire with an oced 4GHz+ CPU (which is recommended for so much GPU-power) under heavy load. But it was already mentioned that gpu-power is not the problem but VRAM. With a 5970 Quad I assume you would like to get maximum quality and much AA & AF. T... |

Right. :-) I still try to find a set of 2GB evga 560tis. Still not available in Switzerland. I bought the Withcher 2 last week and now I've read that it doesn't support Eyefinity. Seems to be a no-brainer to go for nvidia surround... |

Thanks for the input guys. I know there is no clear winner. But what are the flaws of nvidia surround? OK, if SLI doesn't work, surround won't work either. What else? @tricky thanks for the reminder on dx9 in SoftTH. When I used SoftTH two years ago this wasn't a big problem but now its an argument.... |

Hi Boulos and welcome on WSGF. :) I don't know if something has chhanged in the last year but afaik there are three options: 1. AMD Eyefinity (won't work for you since it needs a Radeon 5xxx or above and three monitors identical in resolution) 2. nvidia surround (then you need SLI and three monitors... |

Hi there I was quite a while of WSGF (lots of work). Now I have a little more time for gaming and think about changing my GPU-setup. I game on 5760x1200 with one single ATI 5870 2GB (Saphirre Vapor-X). I had an aircooled 5870CF but these two cars were loud as hell. Month's later one card died and I ... |

I'm with you. Dragon Age is not half as good as Baldur's Gate or the great Planescape Torment. But Torment is just unique. Concerning Dragon Age in Eyefinity I'm a bit sad. Bioware and ATI too promote this game as perfect Eyefinity-game and it really isn't. First the problem with disappearing landsc... |

Thats an outdated Corsair PSU but it might serve you well. btw: Afaik most of the older Corsair PSUs are just made by Seasonic and rebranded. So now it might be the case Corsair gets Seasonic technology again, but a little later than Seasonic. The X-Series is just the next level of modern PSUs - atm... |

The only think I see in the charts is, that we couldn#t care less about choosing between 5870 2GB vs. GTX 480 SLI performancewise. Both setups drive Triplehead-Gaming in performance regions were a fluent gaming is absolutely possible except 3D. So its more interessting which solution is more conveni... |

Consider a Seasonic X-750. If you're building a gaming rig and even go for Crossfire it would be a shame to get an "affordable" (means cheap) PSU. I's the most important part of your rig. Please don't underestimate it and get a quality PSU. After serveral bad experiences with PSUs I only recommend S... |

Right - HP ZR24w fits perfectly for that. U2410 is 20mm bezel afaik (like my 2407). HP ZR24w is 16mm bezel. Thats a fine 24mm less bezel distortion in Eyefinity. My setup should arrive tomorrow - will take some pics then.;) |
