I like have a service auto-detect patches.I like that too, what I don't like is when I'm forced to do the patch. This forcing that GFWL does is made worse by the fact that you can't really tell if the process is frozen or not. During the summer when I installed GTA IV after upgrading to W7-RC1, the...

I have installed a GFWL game on three operating systems (XP, W7RC, W7) and every time I did I was forced to go to the support webpage and follow instructions on changing some really in depth settings to get it to work. Once it is working it's fairly transparent though, until a patch comes out; then ...

This is because the game references the resolution used by your main monitor. I had the same stretching problem you had because in desktop mode my resolution is 1280x1024. So the only way I could fix this was to set my resolution to 3840x1024 before starting the game. Since you can't do that, I'm pr...

As long as it's not installing anything ridiculous or harmful it's OK with me.

Also, if it does indeed increase the sales for the first games that use it. There is no reason they shouldn't update the anti-piracy software.

Dynamically controlled mobo fan ports + Y-splitter + those attachments that came with the fans that reduce power going to the fans to make them quieter = Non moving fan. But yeah, plug it into a case fan connector from the power supply. Since you have got those fancy connectors that came with the fa...

But, according to your theory, shouldn't both ATI and NVIDIA feel like that since they followed Matrox who did it first?

1. This "oxymoronic," PC gaming term describes a flaw in a game where the more you play, the less memory you have available.Memory leak. 2. Name at least two situations where a game company's logo would appear on a game box that they did not make. Where the company is only the publisher (Codemaster...

The beginning parts with character creation and the baby book have big problems, there is keyboard shortcuts for pretty much everything; but you can save yourself a huge amount of headache if you just play these beginning parts in 1280x1024.

I'm not sure if we are thinking of the same thing, but try hitting P while in-game. IIRC that is the toggle for some pretty horrendous post-processing.

Has anybody checked the widescreen/triplehead on Shattered Horizons?

It looks like a fun game and is on sale on STEAM right now. But since I wont have access to my desktop for another week and a half; does anybody else have it?

Demon's Souls by Atlus. I'm about to buy a PS3 and one of the main reasons is to play that game.

Condemned 2 #1 was a very decent (although resource-hungry) PC game, and the ending(s) left me puzzled.QFT Which FF's were you thinking of? I don't think anything pre-12 would be possible to play on TH without a serious redesign. Serious as in every single area of the game re-drawn.12 and up would ...

Torchlight works OK in surround gaming, the stretching at the sides is more noticeable than in 1st person view. A mod to zoom out the camera more would be nice.

There is a mod for that. But for the life of me I can't remember the mod site that I was on before. Sorry : (.
