Ok... I've gotten Crysis and installed it, but I don't see any of the surround resolutions available. The maxtor SGU specifically says that Crysis has native support but I fail to see it as an option. Even after adding the patch I only see the typical 4:3 and 16:9 resolutions. Am I missing something...

I'd buy a TripleHead for the space-sims I play. :D

I have visions of X3 Reunion in TH. Man, that would look good.

Yes, yes it does.....

In case no one has posted info on this yet.

The Racer_S hack for Bioshock TH2G does work on the steam version. Without any problems, for me at least.

I guess I'm confused on how having DX10 applications will take away from a TH2G resolution. Perhaps I am just not in on all the subtleties involved? From my small experiences, if a game supports widescreen natively, it will usually support TH2G resolutions natively as well. A good example would be G...

Good to know the quality is good. I'm just making the point of the price of what amounts to a forth monitor (depending on how much you spent). This thing is no where near the technological complexity of an LCD. It is just some metal and plastic. Despite the quality (which makes me more inclined to b...

Here it is for $174.24, even then, still too rich for my blood.

I can't believe they charge that much for just some metal and molded plastic!

Thats actually about the price I paid for one of my monitiors.

hmm... link doesn't work JKeffe, I tried the rFactor website a few days ago when I was looking to buy the game, site didn't work then either. Their webserver must be as reliable as mine :(

I just bought rFactor, I was surprised that the only place I could find that actually had the game in stock was an eBay seller with 10 copies. I look forward to playing a game with no side warping. When I was playing Track Mania Nations, the side screens where almost a detriment, because the warping...

Matrox seemed to have little if any success getting game companies to make this a priority back in the Parhelia days. In fact, I think I remember them pulling there game developer liason off that responsibility at some point. Has this changed at all with TH2Go? Any idea if they are making headway? I...

Fixing a stuck pixel is possible, its not 100% guaranteed though. In my case I had a blue pixel, would rub it out, then after the monitor would turn off/hibernate, it would come back, I would rub it out. This cycle continued for a couple of weeks, each time it would take a little longer to go away. ...

Hanns·G JC-199DPB Black 19" 8ms I was pretty happy with them. There was one monitor that had a stuck pixel, but with some continued rubbing, I was able to get it going again. The only downside I have noticed is that with a few darker colors. I can bearly see vertical lines. Annoying, but since I ...

Before buying my TH2G I read every review I could get my hands on. Mainly because it was a huge investment in money. But what I want to know, is why none, of the reviews I found mention two factors that where rather important to me before buying? #1 What happens when you play a 4:3 resolution game o...

JKeefe, Actually my experiance was with a single dual head video card, it was a GeForce card, but I preferred to have the horizontal spanning disabled. That way, the second monitor would not go black when I had a game running, and could see messages typed to me in IM. I never bothered trying to run ...

Taking into account its made by the same place and the widescreen support is native, I don't anticipate any problems.

Before the TH2G, I had two monitors running off of the same video card. Any time I tried to span a game across more than one monitor (either making the game a window or some other hack) the frame rates dropped drastically. Rendering the game unplayable. Essentially what you would be wanting to do is...

I found this table from a review of the TH2G. In it is a simple table that shows approximately how many pixels are being rendered. Using the number of pixels rendered as a base you can determine the performance differences between surround and 4:3 resolutions. This means that the framerates you woul...

Let me start off by saying that I would have a hard time telling whether my monitors where running DVI or analog by looking at them. One of the things that you will notice with the TH2G cable that goes from the computer to the box, is that it is very thick and very short. Some have argued that this ...

Perhaps I don't have the delicate eye that you guys do. I bought 3 brand new Hanns-G monitors for my TH2G. All three of them are spot on for color. Sometimes I notice a slight difference in brightness but I chalk that up to just a different angle, as when I move my head a little it come into line.

If you make the game window (if possible) you can usually stretch the window to fill both monitors. Unfortunately, that makes the frame rates fall to absurdly low numbers (normal 60 fps, spanned 5-10). This is because with the separate monitor ports most cards (matrox excluded) are not designed to t...
