If you set it to a higher amount you can see through the walls of some of the maps if you're pressed against them. The number of the variable is expressed in terms of the standard ratio, and as far as I can tell the default is simply 0 using the assumed aspect ratio for the resolution. You and dem ... |

I just bought Warhead without knowing the DRM until it asks me to go online for activiation. This part is acceptable

anyone installed the ut3 patch i have and i cant move the fov slider from its default of 0 :shock: anyone know where the setting is in the ini file? |

Scaling often blurs the image. Using the native resolution gives a much sharper image, and with such a small pixel pitch, you don't need antialias, which you most certainly will do with scaled lower resolutions. Yeah i can confirm that i put on halflife2 and couldnt notice any difference with aa on... |

Well its not the ati 'brand' cause i have ati and it displays bios and boot screens fine like i said might be a dodgy card might be cause you got a vga port on your card too, my card only has dvi. |

if its staying in standby until windows loads it sounds like it could be the card the dvi-out on the card isnt kicking in until the drivers initialise it or something. oh quick edit do you have a vga out on the card as well? cause mine only has dvi maybe yours runs of the vga until the drivers load ... |

Aye yeah its 3007 but as far as i understand it doesnt make sense you cant see the bios screens, all the lcd's i have used have all been able to show the bios/boot info screens, would make setting up a pc you buy from a shop with only a lcd screen a bit difficult if you couldnt. I have a radeon x190... |

Hmm thats strange your obviously using dvi so it should display the initial bios screens and boot screen ok. at least mine does. And aye the screen size from 20" is crazy i wasnt expecting an extra 10" to be quite so so HUGE :) everygame ive tried half life 2 unreal 2004 eve fear supremecommander ti... |
