Just gave the game a try on my 12:5 LG monitor. Full 21:9 support out of the box with game version 1.04, hor+

However, cut scenes are all 16:9 centered with black bars at the sides. So I'd say silver for 21:9...

Thanls, JackFuste. Works nicely act 3840x1600. Only issue I have now - the font size is tiny :( Do you happen to know a mod that increases the font size?

Hi jackfuste - do you have the hex-values or .exe ready for ultra wide screen (24:10)?

Thanks,

Is this patch supposed to work on the GOG version of the game? I tried v4_ECHO_2560x1080.7z on GOG v1.03 (15305). Now the game crashes just before loading the big eye of the main menu. :(

Still there is one anomaly which you can see at the pictures above as well: the minimap position is fixed. Personally, I find it rather irritating to have the map in the middle of the screen. From a WS user's point of view, I have to question the grading system again: a game with an obvious flaw on ...

My name just does not fit my most favorite games, nevertheless, here's my list:

Spellforce
Clive Barker's Undying
Have a N.I.C.E. day (US title: Breakneck)
LEGO Star Wars II
Arkanoid (Atari ST version with my own level editor)
Unreal
Fall, The
Elite Force (Star Trek Voyager)
Rune

I have the full version of the game and I only encountered a few introductory movies, no cut scenes so far.

It runs fine on 1680x1050.

I've just tried the .ini solution with the full version. I did not tested the whole game, but played the whole first chapter and loaded a save game close to the end.
No anomalies found so far. So I'd give it a "B" and a coverage of 100%.

Happy New Year to all of you.

Some virus scanners get upset by UPX and generate annoying false positive reports whenever they encounter an UPX executable.

Does one of you guys run the game in 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 resolution?
If anybody of you can test it in those res's, I'd complete my detailed report.

Personally I consider this game a real Vert+ for 4:3 users as the 16:10 FOV seemed perfectly well for me. Just out of curiosity I had a look at the config file as this post puzzled me. The problem is, that the file contains a lot of binary characters, that aren't treated proper by notepad and wordpa...

What content patch for Kotor2 you are referring to? There is a patch 1.02 from Lucas Arts and also a fix for the patched binary available. UniWS works fine with this.
It gives you Hor+ with stretched HUD. Works fine on 1680x1050.
