Newest patch of PS2 seems to ignore the changes made by this app. Any plans for an update? I don't see anywhere in the settings to increase the vert fov beyond 74 (which is what it was before), and while I'm not doing 3 monitors, I was very happy with seeing ~115 horizontal degrees on a 16:10 displa... |

"Announced" was the wrong word. More like "posted on their forums via a community manager" which, as you intimate, is not the same thing. Page 8, halfway down: http://forums.timegate.com/showthread.php?t=20744&page=8 We have read posts by some players in the PC Community requesting the ability to co... |

TimeGate has announced they are going to add the ability to alter FOV in .ini files in an upcoming patch. I am shocked, but optimistic. |

Well, after reading your post I went through an interestingly educational set of steps to attempt to do the same thing using "cheat engine" (I had no idea of its existence, nor how to use it). Unfortunately I get to the part where I am to "find out what writes to this address" and S8:P crashes. So I... |

You can change the FOV in single player of Section 8: Prejudice with a console command (and piggybacked binds in ini files), but the fov resets when you come out of a lot of modes (overdrive, scopes, ironsights) so it is fairly useless. The FOV is locked to 70 degrees in multiplayer. How would one g... |

Works great for me in retail 1.0 on XP SP2. I'm playing in 1600x900 (even though I have a 4:3 monitor) and eyeballed the correct settings by doing the following: 1) Equip the wrench. 2) Decrease Hieght FOV until the tattoo was clear on my wrist. 3) Walked over to where there was something perfectly ... |

Note that he could have been using a widescreen resolution much higher than what he ran at 4:3. E.g. the widescreen shot might have been captured at 1680x1050, while the 4:3 shot could have been at 1024x768. (higher res outweighs any small amount of polys/textures excluded by vert-) He just appropr... |

What's really disturbing about your screenshots is that you are getting more FPS in 4:3 than you are in widescreen (given that you are getting more information in 4:3 in this case). Is that just an unlucky screenshot in FRAPS, or is it constantly better in 4:3 on your system? I just registered here ... |
