like saying, "Hey, that Porsche doesn't have side mirrors that let you see all 180 degrees behind you." I think it would be a more accurate representation if the porsche had a giant magnified windscreen instead of the usual glass, some people would hate it, while others might not even notice, still... |

IMO there needs to be 3 posts.
1. Paddy found the flaw
2. Racer develops a hack.
3. A link to the hack.
Not having a go at you but what about those of us who can't get the hack to work? We supposed to keep schtum? |

Okay, so it was working, then the bathysphere surfaced, and all my textures suddenly look dreadful ~(like pre-1998) the DX10 surfaces can't be the only thing doing this!? I also noticed the glossy surfaces look crap now (all the bill posters have an etched glass look under DX10) too, so the game loo... |

OK ... there are some big problems with Vista ... Racer_S thinks he can sort it but he will need a few days ... Sorry ... Vista users ... :( Thank you for the reply Paddy. How did Racer_S get it working in Vista 32-bit? I've tried all fixes suggested as I keep saying (run as admin, reboot without driver signing) any help would be greatly appreciated!!! What am I missing? |

Hello, Vista 32bit user here, works like a charm. just want to tell people to make sure they checked wich version they are using, demo or retail... at first i had no results until i noticed retail was checked when i was actually running the demo. I can confirm this doesn't work with Vista 32-bit, I have disabled driver signing and UAC and run the hack as an administrator, nothing. |

I had to sign up just to give my two cents on this topic: Because the game's textures have been designed with 4:3 resolutions in mind, when you zoom in on that image, (much like STALKER did, pre patch) you end up lowering the resolution of those textures, therefore us widescreen users are unfairly g... |
