Even if they don't release a patch, I'll get it when it's bargain bin and use Racer_S'. I just don't want to support them if they don't properly patch it.
Valve put an FOV adjustment in TF2 today :) |

2 more weeks, still no patch :(. Oh well, with TF2 beta and ET:QW Demo I don't have time for Bioshock now anyway. It will be a bargain title by the time they get this patch out and I buy it :) |

The competition stuff is nonsense. All they have to do is add a server variable that locks the FOV or causes pillarboxing. The only real place this is an issue is at big money PC game tournaments like CPL where $100k is on the line, in that case everyone is using the same setup anyway. What kind of ... |

[quote]Is there still no official patch from 2K? What are those fools doing, it should take a few hours to patch. The devs have contacted the WSGF, and we are working with them to help ensure that the upcoming patch supports widescreen to our standards. They have publicly promised that the patch is... |

Yes it is their choice, but all art has standards by which it's judged. Say for example that you couldn't save your game, and they claimed that the lack of saves was a creative choice because they want you to play through the game in one sitting. Would you accept this, would you not criticize them ... |
