Kotor 1 is already fully fixed for all major widescreen resolutions. Downloads and install instructions here:

Ok. Great. Must have missed it. Will have to try it when I replay it next time. :)

[quote]Truly awesome work. I think we can live with the rest of the HUD stretched for now. The map is the important part. Thanks. --------- Unfortunately I have bad news. Doesn't look like I can fix the rest of the hud. Technical explanation below: [...] I just tried out your work. Works perfectly....

Well it looks like it's going to be quite a lot of work to completely fix the huds. As in, I probably won't have it done this month even; apart from this brief week off (during which I would like to spend some time relaxing) work is killing me. So for the time being, here are huds which have fixed m...

The HUD is scaled dynamically based on the resolution. The scalar does not account for the widescreen aspect ratios so they get stretched. It is my guess that the stretching is what misaglins the player cursor on the map. The original KOTOR had fixed HUD sizes and positions so it aviods that proble...

I patched Kotor 1 with Vista x64 using UniWS follwed by a hex editor for the movies. Worked perfectly. Played through it without any glitches as well. That was in 1680x1050, but shouldn't matter. Are you sure you have patch 1.3 installed and the crack applied?

So there is still no solution for the mini-map? That's too bad since it worked fine in KOTOR. Seems they have taken a different approach to the rendering of the HUD in this game. Btw. it would be interesting to know what the three steps does (like in the KOTOR 1 guide). Are each step doing the same ...

Great program. Too bad it's not in the BF2 article here. I always go to this site when installing a new game since the chance that it doesn't do Hor+ is a lot greater than it being natively supported. :( I would have missed it if not for the fact that tweakguides.com linked to it in their guide.

[quote]http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/7083] Dude, did you read what he said? These solutions do not work. I tried them as well, this stupid thread, or at least the first post which purports to offer 1680x1050, does not work. No such option shows up in the video resolution screen. I don't...

This little program in combination with the 1680x1050 shortcut works fine in 1.41 for me. I didn't get kicked by punkbuster either. It's amazing to see the difference it makes when enabling it (which is done by the *-numpad key). Maybe it has been posted before in this thread and I was just lucky. h...
