There's something funky about this game. The FOV doesn't feel right even when playing with a 4:3 res and looking up and down makes me feel like I'm playing Duke Nukem 3D; like the view is distorting.

Damn it. I actually sent Chris Priestly a message some months ago begging them to implement Hor+ or at least make it possible to change the FOV manually. He kindly replied that my request has been forwarded to the dev team. :) I just found this on the official Mass Effect forum: "Go to My Documents/...

Fiddlesticks. I'm getting tired of constantly having to fight with UE3-games. :(

Seems that you don't know the rendering method UE3 uses. UE3 uses Deferred Lighting, which means it's almost impossible to have AA running at the same time because of the way the lighting works. See here for more details: http://www.beyond3d.com/content/articles/19/ Yeah, I didn't know that. Thanks...

Design decision my ass. That was a pretty ridiculous claim from 2K. Someone said in the widescreen support thread at the Epic forums that Windows Vista and a DX10 capable card are needed to enable AA. Is this true? Since when has AA been a DX10-only feature?

Thanks. :) I was following the whole Bioshock thing, but I just never got around to registering here.

I tried it and it does work. 100 seems to be just right for 16:10. ^_^
Even so, the reseting is annoying.

I'll add a screenshot where the "fov 100" command is being used.

Well, just like in Bioshock (and pretty much in every UE3 game, from what I've heard) the widescreen FOV is messed up in UT3 beta. Screenshots: I hope they get it right for the final version, but if not... we is need teh hax. :Edit: With the "fov 100" command: Strangely, it doesn't effect the gun th...
