 So after a few weeks and can't image how many $$$$ spent. Below is the system I built myself. Keep in mind that all this started out because I had (2) 20" widescreen monitors and a crap ATI X1950Pro that didn't have good resolutions. New and "Final" system: Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32B...

That mod looks SICK!!!! I'd like to see how much dead space/bezel area I could gain by doing the same. I like how he mounted the panels to clear plexiglass etc. Looks very nice!

WOW that totally fixed the problem, thanks!!! An additional note: When I first setup this new system, I couldn’t get the current version of the nVidia drivers to give me the option to configure SLI in nVidia Control Panel. To get the SLI configuration option to even show up, I had to use specifica...

Have system with (3) 8800GTXs in 3-Way SLI using TH2Go Digital Ed. and when I start up Crysis at any resolution the monitors go black and they cycle "no signal". After about 3 cycles of “no signalâ€

Sure I'd be happy to do a frametime benchmark... give me a little bit but I’ll do it soon. Picked up Crysis and in graphic settings I clicked select based on system. It selected everything as “Very Highâ€

It ended up being the driver version. Once I installed v169.25 the SLI option was avaliable in nVidia Control Panel. creX:Napster over on SLI Zone recommended this version and it's good.

Life is good!

Sorry about that... Yes I do have a TH2GO Digital Ed. I have only 1 DVI port from the 8800GTX installed in PCI-e slot-1 that's connected to TH2Go. But the driver within Vista is not showing any SLI setting options in the 3D settings area of the nVidia Control Panel.

OK... I think domino or quick-sand comes to mind now. After basically building a new PC with: ASUS P5N-T Deluxe mother board Intel Quad-Core2-6600 4GB Patriot DDR2 1066 Memory (3) eVGA 8800GTX graphics cards with 3-Way SLI Bridge installed (3) Acer AL2416W 24" widescreen monitors 1200 Watt Power Sup...

I'll try the driver thing later today... I did get from EVGA's website the latest drivers for the 8800GTX. But I loaded them over top the drivers I installed from the CD that came with the card. The driver on the website was dated 01-01-2008. So I know they are fairly new. I'll look around for a dri...

Posted a few days ago regarding setting up my system, thanks again to all who posted replies, I appreciate it. I started out with (3) 24" widescreens monitors (1920x1200), (1) EVGA 8800GT Superclocked Ed. and a TH2Go. However after using it for a while I wasn’t happy with the resolution the TH2Go....

Oh... I never thought about mixing different cards such as an GTX and GT. So use a GTX as the main video card for either TH2GO and/or monitor #1 for SoftTH, and use (2) GT's for SoftTH for monitors #2, #3 etc... Good idea!

Yeah... that way I mentioned I was think of returning the GT's and get GTX's if I wanted to go Triple SLI.... still thinking about it.... but probably will just stick with what I currently have and wait and see what news comes from Matrox over the next few months.

What you said in your last post is exactly how I'm going to approach things. I might keep the TH2GO only if I can't get FSX to work with SoftTH. I was thinking of returning the GT's and getting GTX's for the option of 3-Way SLI FSX if TH2GO is the only way I get it to work. But the way I look at it ...

I’ll try to make it a bit clearer for all who have replied to my post… As for (4) monitors, I wasn’t planning on using that setup ultimately for widescreen gaming. What I was referring to with the (4) monitor setup was that (1) monitor by itself (1920x1200) and (3) monitors on the TH2GO (4080x...

Pretty much all what I hoped would not be so. I do have a different approach to try I guess. I picked up a new Asus P5N-T that supports 3-way SLI meaning it will take 3 PCI-E Video cards. If possible could I use (3) EVGA 8800GT Super Clocked video cards NOT use them in SLI mode and use (3) 24" 1920x...

I too have had questions about higher resolution running widescreen monitors and a TH2GO. Originally I was using an ATI X1950w/256MB, a TH2GO Digital Ed. and (3) 20" Widescreens. The widescreen monitors had a native resolution of 1680x1050 and the TH2GO caused an undesirable resolution when all 3 mo...
