I'm thinking about purchasing a laptop for myself soon, but I really have no idea where to look/where i could get the best deal. I don't want a netbook (keyboard is too tiny for my hands). i just bought an lcd from newegg, i didnt have any problems with it, but it was kind of scary waiting for it to come, one dead pixel would have angered me and i couldnt send it back, im not sure if their policy recently changed or not since i bought it though...

I canceled my pre-order for Red Alert 3 today, I'll buy it when my instinct to boycott EA ends, so hopefully that's when the game will become DRM free (like Bioshock is now) and 30 dollars, otherwise I'll keep my 50 dollars to buy a game that I'm not "renting".

On the flip side, pirating it, removing all the GFW Live bullshit it never crashed once for me and I found it to be pretty good.


Yeah, that's what I should have done, but I never did feel like messing with the GFW Live files, pirating it would have been a better idea too..

Of course anyone who has high end parts knows about torrenting, but knowing about it and doing it are two very different things. I still bought Gears of War on pc, it turned out to be a pretty bad port and I was saddened by the fact that it crashed after updating once, but still I decided to buy it....
