If you are participating in the alpha for Rend on steam, you may have noticed vert- behavior on 21:9 displays making it unplayable. There's a fix posted here on the official forums for the game: https://community.rendgame.com/discussion/485/ultrawide-21-9-cfg-temp-fix#latest This is also a bit of a ...

I currently have a single 680 4gb, and it typically uses anywhere from 2100 to 2500mb of VRAM from what i've casually observed. I get around 30-40 FPS on the "Ultra" preset in BF3, rarely dipping down into the 20s, but never lower - at 6060x1080, no settings changed from default. I plan to acquire a...

I can confirm fullscreen 3x1 Landscape via NVIDIA Surround working Hor+ with spanned HUD as well. Character creation and cinematics were either Hor+ or pillarboxed to fit on the middle monitor.

1x3 "Vertical surround" is not possible with NVIDIA Surround. It might be possible with Eyefinity, but I have no idea. You're probably going to have to use SoftTH.

You are correct about not being able to use the 4th connection to drive that monitor.

As far as I know, any GPU will do for driving an "accessory display" as NVIDIA calls it, the NVIDIA website doesn't detail any requirements past that last I checked.

Unfortunately you can't to "Dual-screen" surround. You need 3 monitors with common resolutions, refresh-rates and sync polarities to enable surround, no more.. no less. There can only be three... If you were able to borrow 2 other screens that meet the aforementioned requirements, then it would sure...

When you enable surround it uses both GPUs to render frames, and you can't turn that off completely. However, you might try enabling SLI/surround then using a program like Nvidia Inspector to disabled SLI for only the FSX driver profile so that it only uses one GPU, and see if the SLI related issues...

Stretched HUD and weapon? Bleh.. stretched and unplayable with weird jumping of FoV when sprinting, I'll sick with single screen til they fix it proper. Did the devs acknowledge these issues and say they're going to fix them somewhere? I want to get this game but I simply refuse to buy games that do...

I would like to know if the same connection that has only D-SUB (the classic VGA) using Adapitadores DVI to D-SUB I could use the 2D Surround. I'm not sure I completely understand your question, it is worded in a confusing way. If you're asking if you can use 3 monitors that don't have DVI connectio...

Also extremely interested in this.. was very disappointed to see the lack of Eyefinity/Surround support for Mass Effect 1/2. Already played through both once, but would gladly play through again in surround!

If you want to run surround with an extended desktop or "accessory display", then you need to get an additional video card. It doesn't have to be the same as your current video cards, any card capable of acting as a PhysX card will work, I believe. If you don't have an open PCI-E 16x slot however, I...
