Riva tuner can also add custom resolution to the list without testing first. Under driver settings, click on Customize-->CustomDisplay Mode/ Refresh Rate Wizard--> Type in the resolution, colour bit and refresh rate you want--->OK. It should now be available to chose under Change Resolution in Nvidi...

Yes it appears the test mode does not allways detect if it has passed or failed correctly. Seem to be sensitive too becuase it will pass everytime with my 8800GTX but failed with my 280GTX, untill I swapped the cables over, despite using the same monitors. I think Riva Tuner allows you to force a re...

This might help someone. I had 5040x1050x57 working under Vista 64 using 180.48 and a 8800gtx. I ugraded to a new 280GTX as the price had droped, just pulled my old card and plugged in the new. It worked first time but I noted that my customs modes had been erased and I could only chose between the ...

I have got used to working in widescreen, pushes the bezells out a lttle further and hey TH2Go is all about wide/surround. 24 wound't have fitted on my desk + too expensive. 22"...

[quote]I get a similar thing... When I set custom mode for 5040 the screens flash blank for a second then come back in 5040x1050@57Hz (checked by OSD on monitors) with a 'test failed' error dialogue box. As soon as I hit OK on the test failed box the screens flash blank and it goes back to whatever...

I have 3x 2009W's using Vista x64. Under 175.41 I can get 5040x1050 x57hz. Just installed 181.20 and reinstalled GXM. All wide screen modes are selectable under Nvidia control panel and windows control panel. All modes show up on SGU. However if I now choose 5040x1050x57hz I get monitor out of range...

Just wanted to finish off this thread, I am now a Tripleheader! I got my DTH2G at the weekend but only decided on my monitors yesterday. After pondering things over and measuring my desk space I figuered that 3 x 22" would not fit, so it had to be 3x19 std 19s wide or 20s wide. I have got used to wi...

If you have a video card with 2 outputs, could you not have the DTH2G on one and the 27" on the other? Then use display seting program in Windows to nominate which is your primary display.

Yes I have spotted a couple of 19's that will do the res, theres a Acer with slim bezels. 20" would be perfect for me space wise, but still the problem if knowing if it will work at 57Khz. Scavvenjahh has indicated he cant get 3x VX1940w to work 1650x1050 under Vista, only under XP. I'd like to get ...

Thanks, Well I am commited, just ordered a DTH2Go, and even managed to pick up a hardly used Egotron Triple Lift stand for little money. I have used the last few days to catch up with the current state reading through a lot of the threads. It seems like people have had problems getting certain 22"mo...

Hi, thanks, good to know things are ok under vista 64. Are you suggesting keeping the 24" and running that stand alone and getting 3x 22" for the Triplehead?
