Latest Steam patch for Race07/GTREVO sorts out all issues with streched GUI's misplaced HUD missing trackside objects etc with TH2Go so I imagines fixes it for Eyefinity as well.

It seems like a moot point for me in the UK at the moment anyway, I can't see any flatscreen 1600x1200 panels for sale :/ Yes 4:3's are disappearing and the ones that are around are more expensive than larger widescreen eqivalents. Do you have a Dell30"? If so these 20"ers may match http://www.itcs...

Ati Cards (some) only very recently ran 3x1680x1050, only with the latest firmware update and drivers. It is still a bit hit and miss though.

5040 x 1050 works fine with latest Nvidia divers in Win XP. New Ex Dell XP disks sell for very little now, just picked one last week and have XP installed on a second Hard disk. Not the best solution but it works.

That active box is the same one used at the Hornet Eyefinity event to display on 1080p HDMI panels, so we know that this particular model will work.

I suspect it may be better for me to sell a Dell 2407WFP and replace it with a second hand 2408WFP which has dispalyport if it appears you need an expensivconverter rather than an adaptor. Any Eyefinity reviews been posted?

the interesting question comes up... with 2x DVI, 1x Displayport and 1xHDMI does that imply you get some sort of HDMI to DVI adaptor? or how will the 3 support work?

HDMIto DVI and Display Port to DVI cables and adaptors are fairly and easy to find.

This sounds promising. Is this like TH2go without the TH2go box or something like spaning with 3 monitors rather than the usual 2. Anyone got links to more info on this feature?

Hi am contemplating getting a second TH2Go for another room. This time with smaller monitors, may be 3x19's. What the higest supported res using Vista/ Windows 7 and the latest Nvidia drivers? I know that 3x 1680x1050@57 is out but would 3x 1440x900@60hz work?

Thanks

I'd go for 1680x1050, and a single 9800gtx should be fine for all the usual sims which tend not to be graphically intensive. I am just putting my sim cockpit together based on my TH2Go gear.

Also bare in mind the Nividia / Vista driver problems. You'll be wanting the latest drivers for Sli profile for new games for your 295GTX to work.

Yep, I hear even with 280 GTX SLI (2GB RAM total), you still get around 3GB free. Is that right? I think I can live with that given than XP needs less of it to run than Vista which I run at the moment with 4GB total.
