this sounds nuts... would 5760x1200 and 3600x1920 be possible at 60hz?

i'd have to replace one or all of my 480s as they don't have displayport but that's not the end of the world...

I like the look of these monitor stands but I'm wondering why the WSGF edition supports up to 27" monitors but the HD Triple doesn't. I don't need all the extras that the WSGF stand comes with, I simply want support for up to 3 x 27" monitors. Also, can the monitors on these stands be rotated for po...

Just curious as to why this game gets a gold/A rating with all the vendor specific lockouts and such :)

eg. no 3d for nvidia users, no centred hud for nvidia users, etc...

If nvidia did this people would be all over them...

Hi, After struggling at trying to get 5040x1050 working nicely with my 4-way setup I decided to go back and try my mview box, to see if that got around the 4-way surround issues. I inputed these settings into the nvidia custom resolution panel: Horizontal desktop pixels: 5040 Vertical desktop lines:...

Hey all, I have an issue with Metro 2033 that I haven't found a solution for anywhere. Basically when I start the game in DX11 Triple Wide mode (5040x1050), the initial view is fine for the intro video, the credits screen, and then the 'press any key to continue' screen, but when it gets into the me...

I got it all working eventually. Problem was the game crashed somewhere in the first mission :( It was working fine up until then. I think it may be the game at fault though. Annoyingly, all the pre-rendered cut scenes are messed up too, ie. Vert- Oh well, it's playable at least. Many thanks for the...

Hi Dopefish, I can't get your fixer working in Wolfenstein. It works fine for UT3 (I tested in that to confirm it wasn't the fixer) so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've updated to the latest version (1.2) and that didn't help. The version I'm using is a retail copy, so it's got SecuRom instead...

No worries, you gave it a go :) Atleast you fixed it for the retail copy, so now all I gotta do is 'obtain' it.

Maybe a normal exe would work with the steam version? That'd be handy. Problem is I dunno how to get a hold of the original exe... cracked exes are easy enough to find :P

Help :( I was looking forward to trying this game but I have the steam version and the patch doesn't work. What are my options? I could try downloading a pirate copy, patching it, and using that... but download limits down here in Aus suck :- Anyone got any suggestions? When I try to launch the game...

I dunno about not supported, there has been some benchmarks done and it does *something* the difference just isn't as pronounced as with 2 way or 3 way sli. This is why I'm curious as to if it'll make an even bigger difference in surround - after all you're pushing WAY more pixels than even a 3d vis...

That HardOCP article is awesome news. I game at 1680x1050x3, so technically I should get much better performance, even if I did use 'just' 2 cards. 30-40fps to me is fine if it keeps it up consistently, so really the quality settings allowed should be amazing. The Corsair AX1200 PSU can't come out i...

Thank you :) Some news is better than nothing. And yes, their people are nice, no denying it. I guess I'm just annoyed it didn't work how I'd hoped. I'm currently using nvidia surround under Windows 7 x64, I guess I can use the mview box under XP, or keep using the Matrox box. Depends on if I decide...

suiken_2mieu: "5850 is more than enough for 5040x1050" Riiiiiight. So i can max out bfbc2, mw2, fc2, crysis, crysis 2, avp, etc... with just 1 5850 at that resolution? I find that a bit hard to believe... Also, 30fps or dropping quality settings != maxed out. I like my games to run well and I defina...

I've written mail to them a few times. Last time I checked they were moving and looking into the problem, but I haven't heard back since. Because I now have 3 1680x1050 monitors, I can use my Matrox box, which so far has worked far better than mview's box. I only got mview box because they practical...

An official word from ATI would be nice :- Considering the lack of raw power in the 5xxx series, Crossfire is almost a requirement for high detail Eyefinity.

Luckily, things such as the Matrox TH2Go have less issues under WinXP than they do under Win7... I'm looking forward to nvidia surround for the DX10/DX11 surround support. My TH2Go causes Crysis to crash for example. Far Cry 2 works fine though... but I have had Crysis working on 3 monitors before u...

Hmms... raw power of 480s, or Quadfinity (if it works) + PhysX. If the issue really is fixed then it's gunna make my decision making a whole lot harder :? 2 5970 + PhysX is *alot* easier & cheaper to setup & cool than a Quad-SLI 480 setup after all... I look forward to hearing more about this develo...
