Hi suiken_2mieu, thank you for responding. I actually have 1 of my monitors hooked up to my 2nd video card port so I can do full 1920x1200 by just pressing a button on the monitor and making it in primary in windows display manager. With GTA 4, I was trying to put the game at 1440x900 @ 60 Hz on "si...

I run GTA IV in Th2go at 4320x900, even though I could run it at 5040x1050 because it's much more playable at that resolution. I appreciate what ATI is doing by trying to make triplehead accessible, but they really need to work on some of the features. They're offering a lot of things that Matrox do...

I've installed my Triplehead2go for a few days now, but it seems that nearly every time I launch a "new" game (a game that I have not played in 5040x1050), it minimizes to the task bar. The only thing I can do to remedy it is to change the cfg file for the game to run in 5040x1050 at 59 Hertz. But w...

I have an ATI 4890 and run 5040x1050 @ 59 Hz on my three 24" monitors and using Catalyst 9.9 drivers (newest ones I think). Most important is that you get monitors that work with the reduced frequency. I looked at the 57Hz monitors list when I got my Samsung 2443's, and thankfully all my 3 monitors ...

Has anyone tried running this at 5040x1050? The game seems to run at that resolution in Hor+, but I think the field of view needs a bit of expanding, the sides are really stretched. Also, the HUD (inventory menu etc.) are all stretched really badly.

[quote]When it finally released it seems that it was a little more(than a little) hype/sizzle. It's as though ATI invented surround-screen gaming and just now released it upon the world. I was having a deja vu moment much like Al Gore "inventing" the internet. Yea, it seemed like that to me a...

Then bezel but if I am correct its a TN panel. For gaming TN is sometimes prefered due to the fast response time, but also at the same time it has the poor view angles and that could be an issue with tilted outside monitors. I went with the larger bezel Dell monitors for IPS panels. That is correct...

[quote][quote] Can somebody confirm this? If this is true then I need only to find 3 monitors im comfortable with. If you don't have 3 monitors yet, you shouldn't even bother with the adapters. Save up and get something like 3 Dell 2408WFP's or 3 Dell U2410. Both of them have DisplayPort on them. D...

I have two of those, Samsung 2443BW. It has about as small of a bezel as you're gonna find in a 24" monitor. The Dell 2407 and 2408 both have thicker bezels.

It is still much cheaper to go and buy the $100 Dell active adapter over the $300 Matrox TH2G box, and that Matrox device only does 1680x1050res max times three. But if you have a monitor with Display Port you don't need the adapter at all. Not quite. You also have to factor in the price of the vid...

[quote]I'd love to play GTA 4 at 5040x1050 with all the options on, or maybe just like medium settings. But that might still be unrealistic expectation. Why ? I play it all maxed at 5040x1050, including visible distance at 100, you dont need a "next gen" GPU for this. What video card do you have? A...

Ahh, gotcha, so i need three of the 26inch basically...if i did three 26 or three 32, what would be recommended... triplehead2go geforce gtx 295 Yea, you should get three of the same size, or else it'll be messed up in size differences. Not sure what your budget is, but I would get 3 24" monitors w...

I'm going to wait a while then. It sounds to me like as soon as both DVI ports are in use, the DisplayPort output does not output something that the DP->DVI converter can make use of, that's why you're only getting 2 monitors. I'm gonna wait about a month or so and see what happens with this, maybe ...

You're the guinea pig, though... but we've all got a vested interest in getting it working for you, because that means we'll know how to get it working for us! :D Yup, we need to get this thing working. I don't have any display port monitors, so there must be a way to get it for you so 3 DVI output...

Currently, Matrox doesn't support 3x1920x1200. Only 3x1680x1050. The DisplayPortTH2Go supposedly fixes that, but requires DisplayPort monitors and the TH2Go itself. None of the issues ATi 'exhibits' with EyeFinity are anything that Matrox hasn't either suffered from in the past, or suffers from sti...
