I'd really like to get a GW2 Guild going. We tried with GW1, but it never took off. No monthly fees, and International servers seemed to make it a perfect fit for the WSGF.

When we get a firm release date post up a sticky or something, and I'm in.

Its always been this way with WoW. it's called the "fish-eye" effect. there isn't a fix. you should try running your monitors in portrait mode, you might like it better. i used to run 5760x1200, then tried portrait and it seemed less distorted and gave more height to the picture. i abandoned portrai...

with your resolution, it really looks like you are running out of VRAM. Even though the 5970 has 2GB, it is split between the 2 GPUS onboard so they both have 1GB, that is mirrored. you have to do what ever you can to reduce VRAM usage. turn off AA should help

1. what video cards should i be considering to run the 30 inch at 2560x1600 with the graphics cranked up? i was looking at a msi 460 card that has 2gb of vram i think the price was 229 on newegg. two of those would give me 4gb. 460 in SLI should be ok. the 2GB cards are a good choice. two of those ...

- the $2100 asking price will pay for a real MacPro, if you shop the refurb store / or use a student discount - you can put together that same system for a $1000 tops. - hackintosh isn't as reliable a a true mac, unless are a little mac savy, and can handle updates that "break" the hacks that make i...

I'm a little worried about 3rd party motherboard manufacturers (ie: ASRock, Asus, Msi, Giga, etc....) repairing motherboards instead of replacing them. Even more worried about them repairing their inventory of unsold motherboards. Really doubt Intel is gonna shell out the $$$ to those manufacturers ...

The Mac Pro does not have a SLI certified motherboard, and Apple's Nvidia drivers also do not support SLI. When in bootcamp, you still cannot enable SLI. I tried to experiment with hacked drivers in bootcamp to enable SLI, but nothing that i found or tried turned out to be real. You'll have better l...

couple things to check when connecting a HDTV to your PC, - that the HDTV is set to a 1:1 pixel mapping. if i remember correctly is called "Just Scan" on LG's - make sure that in your Nvidia control panel (or CCC for you ATI guys), you have the "over scan" turned off if either one of those are no ri...

I have neither or those monitors, but the dell 2007fp is typically used for P-L-P with the 3007wfp-hc. looks like the overall bezel size of the newer dells haven't changed too much. the width of the 2007FP is 17.5" (which would be the height when rotated) the width of the 2211H is 20.25" so i'm gues...

i thought that the HDMI port on the graphics card shared a TDMS signal with one of the DVI ports, thats the reason you _can't_ run DVI+DVI+HDMI. If thats the case you _cant_ run the 3 computer monitors + TV at the _same time_. But you could watch TV + use 2 of the 3 monitors. someone please correct ...

only thing i noticed it that there is only 1 Dual-Link DVI, the other DVI port on the card is Single Link DVI. Guessing they downgraded the second port to a single link, so they could free up an extra TMDS signal for the HDMI port. All the cards we were used to until now were configured with their 4...
