Ah. That's a shame. Thanks for the informed reply! :) I was really hoping to get the benefits of both. It seems we will lose something via nvidia surround - the driver will not utilize SLI, and no matter how you break it down, I can't see how two video cards will be able to render three screens unle...

I guess I wasn't clear enough. I have two 470s in sli. I have three samsung 2233rz 120hz monitors. I have three dual link dvi cables running from my triplehead2go to my monitors. I have one plain jane dvi cable (that came with the triplehead2go) running to one of my 470's. They are running 5040x1050...

I already have the three 120hz monitors.

So.... anyone want Matrox to either update or release a version that supports 120 hz?

I don't know if it would be possible with the unit, but gawd it'd save some grief.

Dammit. This is what I had originally wanted to do with my 3d setup, but now I've spent money on two more regular monitors and a triplehead2go setup. Guess I'll be selling some stuff on ebay when this goes live.

Hmmm... Nicely done! I haven't tried this yet because I did the evil of all evils thing.

I went back to xp. Solved all my issues at once. Maybe I'll try a dual boot or something.

Well, actually no, it's not last year's crap. At least not all of it. There are still alot of us having tons of difficulty getting things working correctly. But at least the people here have been tremendous in terms of helping each other out and doing thier best to make things work properly.

When you run that above, and it confirms the display mode to run is 1680x1050 per monitor, what happens when you apply it? It looks word for word the same as mine, except for your monitor models. It gets to the point for the last three where, if you are going to be successful you will be shown thre...

I know you aren't an employee. None of us are. If I could get support from them on thier own site, trust me, I'd be doing it. :) Now, here is something I find interesting. This is the message I get when trying to install triplehead resolutions of any type using thier utility. Matrox product: TripleH...

Timmeh, I have 275 cards as well (sli) and am running into the same issue as the previous poster. I simply do not get the option to run 3x5040x1050 no matter how I set it up. I thank you for your help. I will attempt again EXACTLY what you suggest when I get home from work - but so far only 3x1440x9...

So someone help clarify please. I still cannot do 1650. I can only do 1440 if I go with a clean install of 191.xx and 2.04 pwrd. This is all with the latest firmware - that is until today. Someone on the Battlegroundeurope forums posted success with the latest 195.8 nvidia betas. So I tried a clean ...

Well, I was able to get 1440x900 (thank you!), using this method, but still no 1680x1050. Tried the solution TO THE LETTER. Just FYI.

4080 x 768. That seems to be about the only res I can get working properly. I just installed a fresh copy of windows 7x64 release candidate (retail). I am using the latest Nvidia drivers (195.62 I think). I tried all this before a total wipe too. Got latest firmware, installed various drivers (from ...

[quote]This would be fairly stupid of NVIDIA, in my opinion. People who bought the TH2G are very likely the same people who would be buying NVIDIA's next-gen solution when they upgrade... but if NVIDIA treats them badly, they may look for alternate solutions out of spite. Hindsight is a wonderful t...

I'd love to believe I'm just spouting conspiracy theories and such, but I just can't put it past them. After all, aggressive anti competative moves have been proven to work very well in the field of computers and hardware. I even tried reinstalling xp pro, but ran into so many issues with bluescreen...

Continued... So I decided to purchase a triplehead2go setup to go with my sli'd 275's (which were also very expensive). Previously (182.50) people could run full resolution on 1650x1040 displays via that driver version with Matrox's software. Now all of a sudden we cannot. Anyone else notice this ha...

*sigh* I have become VERY disheartened with Nvidia over the past few months. A little background might help. I have been an Nvidia customer since I swapped out my voodoo3 card for a Geforce. They have made some marvelous strides in performance and helped to set the standard for many years by incorpe...

This is a copy of a driver feedback form I have sent to Nvidia. I have been scouring the forums trying to find a solution to my inability to get support for 5040x1050 under windows 7 x64. Needless to say I am frustrated. "Well, I had provided you with lots of feedback but I was unable to send it - l...
