bumpity bump. everyone knows the new pre10.4 drivers fix the load time issue right?

:D

working great for me, but seem to have taken a hit to the FPS. Wondering if they are working properly with CF + EF. Utilization of 2nd GPU looks proper though.

HAHA yea has 2 GPU's I think everyone knows that but it is on one PCI slot. I am not going to argue with you but I do not consider that crossfire. The same with a 295 that is not SLI, yea two 5970's would be considered Crossfire X, or 2 295's would be considered quad SLI. But I have never read anyt...

The "profiles" are not end user profiles, but a mechanism for us to patch the profiles that are stored within the driver ourside of a driver release. So, if you installed Cat 10.3a and then installed the update then you'll have the latest profiles that are available. Sweet, sounds like that's exact...

[quote]How do I get crossfire profiles working? I've got a 5970, need to see what's up with BFBC2 since I really want that profile that almost doubles your FPS :D Huh don't think it will have any effect on a single 5970 haha. I did see something about a new profile for CCC though and yea rumored 75...

Just noticed this! http://downloads.guru3d.com/ATI-CrossFireX-Profile-Application-1.0-download-2501.html Installed. Got a nice bump in BFBC2. Also, my Afterburner graph appear more realistic (prior, both GPU's were just pegged). No clue where it sits or how to access it yet. Cant find an icon off SM...

If you are not willing to try suggestions, why again are you asking for help? When you say things like 'i'm not going to try...' and 'why would I do that?', it is very obvious you have little experience troubleshooting PC's I suggest you listen more and read less. You gotta 'get it' before you'll 'g...

Bumping up this thread to see what people have been setting their FOV setting to in settings.ini

I've got mine at 63 (running 5760*1080). Is there a "correct" setting, or is it pure personal preference?

Gracias Amigo! :) Also, very worth while to point out to the masses reading this, that the chances of getting this type and level of participation from 'other' manufactures, display card or any other type, on a sunday no less is well...not likely. While I don't appoligize for a bit of a harsh tone i...

I notice that on your mouse you have the 'forward' thumb button as undecided. I dunno about you but I can barely reach mine so it is set to 'pitol' but I never use it cos it is too hard. The MS mouse (name I cannot remember) one above the other idea is much better. C'mon Logitech, get with it! I on...
