Honestly I am starting to loose faith in ATI again, I wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves but its been 6 months since I purchased the Eyefinity rig and continue to have the same problems with this DisplayPort bs, either it turns off randomly or I get artifacts or blinking and have to r... |

I am fairly confident that this is not a hardware issue with the adapter. The issue goes away immediately after downgrading to 10.3beta. I suspect it is being caused by the ATI card going into some automatic low-power mode which lowers the signal strength to the DP port and it never fully recovers u... |

I have the same issue and I own the Accell Adaptor, my DP monitor goes blank after sitting on the desktop for a couple hours, I have to physically pull the power cord from the monitor to reset it. Turning it off/on with the button does not work it acts like there is no signal. It didnt happen in ver... |

I am also having an issue after updating to the 10.4 drivers. My DisplayPort monitor just turns off after a while. I have to disconnect the video cable and plug it back in to get it to work. I am going to revert back to 10.3b. |

On my system (Windows 7) I did not see a way to adjust the power saving features on a per monitor basis but I currently have power management disabled so they never issue the suspend command. This may be a complication to your dvi port going low power mode but having issues trying to wake it back up... |

Ok I would start by isolating the issue, switch your DVI monitors, see if the issue follows the port or the display. Also check if power management in Windows is not turning off the display after so long.

Sorta wish I didn't buy this game on Steam so I could sell it to someone who will play it. I held off playing it because they were going to fix this. Honestly have lost interest in waiting. I am playing Bad Company 2 and Dragon Age Awakening now in full 3 monitor glory. Maybe I've been spoiled but g... |

I have been looking for anyone at all who is trying to run Eyefinity on 120hz LCDs but after months I have not seen one. I am using the DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter (powered) but recently found out that it does not support 120hz only 60hz. So this leaves me in a pickle. I have yet to find an... |

I tried to make my own EDID and inf but when using it on that DisplayPort Adapter its just a bunch of vertical lines and works fine for the DVI monitors (all 3 are the same so they are all using the same inf). On the Accell website (it wasn't there when I first purchased this adapter) it says **This... |

So I recently found out that the Accell UltraAV DisplayPort to DVI Dual-Link Adapter B087B-002B one of the only Adapters that ATI has validated does not support running at higher than 60hz even though the DisplayPort spec and the dual-link DVI spec allow this. This prevents me from using my 3 Viewso... |

You are right, the setup tool looked exactly the same but the engine is different. Eclipse for DAO and UE3 for Mass Effect 2. |

I just installed Mass Effect 2 (Released) from steam and am having the same issues as the OP. The game is running at 5040x1050 on ATI 5870 the 3d part looks fine but it feels like all of the menu's are blown way up and you can only see a small portion of them. I could not even register the game beca... |

I found this snip of information browsing other forums. well, im going by amd's display port, only uses the equivalent of a single lane of their 6 outputs... ie dvi-i only on the 5000 series. dp takes 1 of 6, hdmi takes 1 of 6, dvi-d takes 2 of 6, so 2 dvi and a hdmi port on a card is 5 of 6 used, m... |

The only way around it at the moment is to use a modified EDID as detailed in this thread http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=17635. But the EDID being detected by CCC shows it supports 120hz already, how would modifying it help? EDID detects 120hz Single Display set at ... |

I am running 3 Viewsonic VX2265wm monitors that support the new 1680x1050@120hz refresh rate. When in extended desktop mode I can configure all 3 to 120hz but when I group them with Eyefinity my refresh rate choice drops down to 60hz only. Is this a driver limitation or can the Eyefinity hardware no... |

I was able to fix the DisplayPort issue by updating the Bios. There were not a lot of good clear instructions though so I thought I would post them here. Go here to make a Bootable USB flash drive Download the ATIFlash tool Download this ATI Bios 103 update file. Once you create the bootable USB thu... |

Dave, I was wondering if you may be able to verify if my Eyefinity setup issue is a software or hardware limitation. I am one of those crazy early adopters and for my configuration I am using an ATI 5870 1gb and the Accell DisplayPort to DVI adapter. I, and others, have been having an issue where th... |
