So if you had one of these 7 PCI-e slot mobos and 7 5870 E6 cards you could have 42 monitors.. uhm. 7x5 setup would be the best? (35 monitors)

1920x1080 feels too narrow in portrait, I'd prefer more space between the bezels you'd get on 1920x1200. It's also too wide in landscape imo.. 48:9 is very short and wide, 48:10 would feel a little better. I'd prefer 1920x1200 monitors over the 1920x1080 ones i got but these 1080 ones were quite a b...

[quote][quote]i wonder if these drivers will finally solve the blinking issue with the active display port adapter. The issue is not with the drivers, its the active displayport adapter. In retrospect, I may have saved up for an Ergotron, but I got three individual desk mounts from Monoprice. They're pretty strong and I haven't had to re-adjust since settings them up. The three came to about $80 CAD, with shipping. I use three 24" screens adn thsoe arms hold them at maximum length ...

You can switch profiles with hotkeys! Yes, thanks, I do already use hotkeys for switching profiles between Extended, Eyefinity, and dual monitor and single monitor even.. bunch of different profiles w/hotkeys. I'm just looking for something more fluid that doesn't require the screen blanking and ev...

Not really a 'gaming' question but.. I love having 3 monitors for workspace but I often only need to use 2 of them and would like to put a monitor to 'sleep' without actually hitting the power button to turn it off. The ideal solution would be an app/script that detects whether the mouse has visited...

Okey I changed the FOV for almost every key to "155" and its all good now :) The only problem is that I cannot see anything in the menu :x also everytime I sprint in game my camera/screen goes upside down > FOV of ~150 and up screws it up, and makes the camera flip upside down, just use ~145. Also ...

I also want to point out that what those of us with no actual responsibility or involvement have been posting is just conjecture whereas the ATI reps here are much more limited in having to use facts so.. don't be so quick to lay blame and give people time to ask questions.

The problem with Ubisoft and Splinter Cell: Conviction is that their baseline coding is for Anamorphic, rather than Hor+. They are only implementing Hor+ support if they can identify an Eyefinity group. They should have made the game Hor+ as a baseline, then used the Eyefinity SDK to add the bells ...

Nice work, I think there's still a barrier to Stereo 3d w/shutter glasses though in that the refresh rate needs to be synced between all 3 monitors and the shutter glasses and the drivers are very unlikely to be doing that without some support from ATI..

You'll probably find useful information in the sticky thread up above, Threads of special interest for Eyefinity owners As far as I know any ~$100 active DP->DVI adapter will work but some people have to exchange them till they get a working one, and any $30 DP->VGA adapter will work if you're lucky...

I have a similar problem.. I have 2 Dell P2310H's and my 3rd monitor is a Viewsonic, now during my last install of Win 7 I lost portrait mode at some point which came back permanently after I disconnected and reconnected the Viewsonic once. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with it rereading th...

Yes just set everything how you want it and hit 'Apply', then go up to profiles in the top right and save it as a new profile. I assigned a hotkey for each setup I wanted too, Alt+F1, Alt+F2, Alt+F3 - for Triple monitor extended desktop, triple monitor Eyefinity, and dual monitor extended desktop wh...

Though portrait and no DisplayPort would be huge issues.. wish there was a better 120Hz selection.

Crossfire doesn't work in windowed mode, some limitation in the way Windows handles the display I think. You might be able to get rid of the border using Shift Window fuzioninfinity linked in another thread:

If you want to use just the 5xxx in Eyefinity for video output you have to have either a DP native monitor, an Active DP->HDMI adapter (I don't know of any so you would need Active DP->DVI and then a DVI->HDMI adapter), or a DP->VGA adapter. If you don't want to deal with the DisplayPort issue you w...
