Nice. I'm in for two. It said "VAT is not applicable on this order," so we shall see about that....

Overclockers.co.uk has the Gainward 3gb GTX 580 on preorder for 479.99 pounds, with an ETA of 4/2/11, (which is either April 2 or Feb. 4). That's a little more than $750 each including VAT, I think. Can any UK people help me out with that date?

D'oh! I didn't notice that there was a demo. Thanks. Good news: It just works. I run 3840x1920. It only let me choose 3840x1600 in the options, so the menu screens don't quite fill my monitors. But, when the game starts, it either stretches or switches to my native res, I can't tell which. But it lo...

I've beaten Defense Grid forward and backward and I'm looking for a new tower defense fix on Steam. Does anyone know if Sol Survivor works in Surround (or Eyefinity)?

Well, my solution has been to temporarily dismantle my Surround setup and use my old 30" monitor. Not very convenient, but I get to play my game. Does this seem like a problem nVidia will be able to (or will be bothered to) fix with drivers in the future? i.e., expanded games support for weirdos who...

I see that this game works in triple head, so I bought it on Steam. (Perfect game for summer vacation!) Unfortunately, I'm running nVidia Surround in portrait mode (3840x1920). I can't get the game to launch at all. It just gives an error that says my display doesn't support the minimum resolution o...

I've been trying to sell my Gateway XHD3000 on Craigslist, but the thought just occurred to me: Why not just use it as a TV in the bedroom? It doesn't have a TV tuner. How do I do this? What hardware do I need?

If you read the fine print in all the GTX 480/470 reviews that have come out today, they're saying the surround drivers will be available some time within the next month.

Surround drivers will be here "within a month." I don't know what that translates to in nVidia time.

after looking at some benchmarks/reviews i noticed at the higher resolutions and some are sli benchmarks over at hardocp.com seems like the performance really takes a dip through the resolutions, anyone got some 5040x1050 or other triple or more monitor reviews/benches? it might seem more powerful ...

Hm, Fudzilla seems to think AMD has delayed the 5876 from March 11th to the end of the month: According to AIB partners, AMD has delayed its Eyefinity card and the new date is set of somewhere at the end of this month. As you probably know, the card was previously scheduled for official launch on Ma...

You could always go for 3x1 in portrait.

Yeah, I'm starting to think this is gonna be the way to go....

The bezels on the MD230 look about half the thickness of the Dell set-up used in that review, so that should mitigate the problem a little bit.

Hm, now we just need a proper review of the MD230....

I'm going to go with 3x2 is bad for the same reason 2x1 is bad, split right down the middle.. heck I saw a 3x2 review recently and they kept badmouthing the idea because pretty much everything important is drawn in the middle (well and they turned on bezel 'correction' which means they couldn't see...

I want to go 3x2 because I want to keep close to a standard aspect ratio for watching movies.

I guess if I can switch to 3x1 on the fly, it shouldn't be a problem. I didn't think of that.

I'm thinking about getting a couple 5876s and the md230 monitor from Samsung when it comes out. Anyone know if this is a good setup for someone who plays mostly FPSs? (I'm picturing playing Stalker and trying to use a scoped weapon only to see a big black bezel across where my aiming reticule should...
