Yes Yes, however you will need an active displayport adapter or a displayport to vga adapter to activate the 3rd monitor on the 5770. Yes, as above. Now with that said.. there is a HUGE difference between extending your desktop to 5 monitors, and playing games on 5 monitors... You might be able to ... |

- I am considering building a Core I7 system with 2 PCI express X16 slots. Do all LGA1366 motherboards with 2 or more PCI express X16 slots support 2 video cards? - I currently have a 4550 card and a 5770 card. Can I install both of those and run 3 monitors on the 5770 (1 is display port) and 2 more... |

after I returned the MSI 5670 and got the XFX 5770 up and working. MSI sent me an email saying they updated the video card bios to resolve this issue.

Thats odd, I thought the entire 5000 line was suppose to support 3. Yeah, Maybe eyefinity just means the ability to group 2 or more displays? I suppose if that's the case then they do probably all support eyefinity. I also noticed that about half of the 5670 cards on newegg do not mention eyefinity... |

I got my 5770 with the 10.3 preview installed. With no issues at all, I'm able to make any combination of 3 duplicated, extended, and / or grouped displays. I couldn't do anything with a 4th display but I wasn't expecting to. I don't have much faith in the 56XX or lower cards for eyefinity, but the ... |

I was able to RMA the MSI 5670. I just ordered the XFX 5770 and an Antec 650 watt power supply as a replacement. Surely that will work with my setup.
thanks for everyone's help! |

I called MSI tech support twice, They finally admited it only supports 2 displays, even thought the back of the box says it supports 3 when using a display port monitor. Won't be buying an MSI card again. |

I dont think you should get an active adapter. If anything, I would swap the card for another one. Maybe you have the wrong DVI plugged in? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eyefinity#Multi-display_technologies Try changing the plug. Although if you are willing to drop 100$ on a plug, why not get a 58x0... |

Look through this video and make sure that you have the setup correct. :)

Unlike in the video when I go to duplicate the 3rd monitor it tells me I have to disable one of the other 2. |

It should work. Do you get an image on all 3 screens?
I never get an image on all 3 at the same time as I have no way to make all 3 active. |

I purchased an MSI 5670 video card and a Dell displayport monitor. I already had 2 acer monitors. I only have the option to create a 2 monitor group. 3x1 or 1x3 is not an option. Any ideas? Is the display port on my monitor a passive port? dell monitor link - http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...4... |
