Just a thought- the timing isn't too hard, so if you could just change the keybindings for the QTE's, we might have a temporary solution? For example, make it so that rather than requiring numbers 1-4, it always requires 1. That way you could hijack by timing button presses with the animation... lik...

If anyone has a somethingawful forum login, gibbed and bolo are active over there (guys who made the mods so far). I could view the threads the other day but it's locked now. They might be able to help.

Minor thread necro.... I'm getting absolutely lame performance using the FOV patch. Steam version, using a crack to make it work. I'm using triple 1680*1050 on a 5850, processor is an E8200 at 3.2GHz, I should be blazing through this, right? I've lowered settings to medium/low to make it playable, n...

The game is LOTS of fun. And it seems to run much faster in Eyefinity than the demo did... However, the hijack prompts are still not shown when using EF :( I've been able to get it with pure luck once, but it'd sure be nice to steal the buggers. And the skydive/chopper mouse sensitivity is still WA...

Hijack prompts don't show for me in any triple-wide res I've tried. Works in single. Being so easy to do, it just ends up being a waste. It's dumb. What do you mean by 'easy to do'? Are the QTE's so easy that you don't need the prompt, or do they change every time you hijack something? I'd really l...

:( Well, I still have the issue where 3 x 16*10 resolutions (3840*800) do not display QTE prompts. This means every time I hijack an occupied vehicle, I have to swap to a distorted 3840*1024, and then swap back. Not ideal, and I have no idea how to fix it. And, I think I may such a minor voice that...

Update for anyone suffering the same problem.... i tried the method described to force them to use the same driver- no change. I tried each monitor's driver on every monitor, none of them made the slightest difference. BUT! Changed the primary monitor in CCC to the problem one (after having enabled ...

This issue is caused by low Clocks on the card when in 2d mode with 3 screens You need to set a 2d profile in MSI Ocing tool, Once i had it 500 / 800 i never saw tearing again. I doubt it. My 5850 is a recent one with 2d clocks set to 400/900 by default anyway, and the line appears in 3d programs.

Are all your monitors the same? Mine weren't and I found the only fix was to do a simple EDID edit. It was not an EDID flash or anything that could permanently damage your monitor so this process is not risky at all. They aren't...but something odd seems to be happening there. I use a pair of 2208w...

Sorry forgot my old username, been a while since i was posting on these boards. so anyway...... I have 3 x Dell 2209WA monitors, all identical, i have 2 connected via DVI and 1 connected via a DP-VGA adaptor. I had to spoof the EDID on the VGA connected monitor to get the resolutions to work, and a...

Bump. Is this in any way fixed? I'm using 2 DVI and one native displayport on a 5850 with the 10.3 beta drivers. I get tearing/the line even with solid framerates and vsync on. It's only on my secondary monitors though...even though the primary one is DVI. Any ideas? EDIT: My monitors ARE all set to...
