Just a recap. Im using a single ati 5970, 3x24" lcd moniters running 1920x1080on each. Using a "Apple MiniDisplayPort -> Dual-linked DVI adapter" which is an active adapter... costed me like 70 bucks of ebay.

| From browsing the fourms i understand that a "Displayport to VGA" adapter works for eyefinity (3x24" - 3x 1920x1080) however would a "Mini Displayport to VGA" adapter work for eyefinity with the 5970? The other 2 connected in Dvi ofcourse. An adapter like the following: http://www.tankya.com/pic/VGA... |

| Great thanks guys, i haven't received my computer yet however I've got 3 of the same screens which are 1080p. Thanks for reassuring me :) Ill definitely order the apple mini dp -> dvi active converter before my computer arrives. |

| Hi, I'm a complete noob and i bought an overpriced alienware pc with the 2g ati radeon 5970 graphics card. I also decided to buy 3x 24" LCD monitors which have vga/dvi/hdmi ports. I haven't received my computer yet, but I'm so worried because I've heard there's so many problems with setting up eyefi... |
