HaYDeN, How about Warcraft III ? It doesn't even support 16:9 correctly (stretch, 4:3 forced), but you've managed to get it working for Max Payne 2, so I wonder if it's possible for to do the same for WC3? I (and certainly not only I) would really appreciate it =) |

Oubadah You can remove the stretching after a cutscene by double switching resolutions i.e. to 1152x864 and then back to 1280x1024. Sucks, but better then restarting the game. The shadows are buggy for some people, including me. Switching them from Very High to High solves the problem partially. The... |

Well, I've managed to load one of my saved games on 1920x1080 but it still crashes when interacting with objects.

The game still requires the -window switch for non-native resolutions, otherwise it crashes out with an error.
No crashes for me on full screen. |

jackfuste Works great. Thanks a lot.
Too bad there still a bug occurs, after any cutscene the picture gets stretched. I have to switch resolutions or restart the game to fix that. |

I was just about to upload a hack which allows any custom resolution, but now it's not needed.

How did you manage to get this working? I get this using UResChanger2 and nothing changes during playing the game. |

Just gameplay and only in singleplayer. Why bother about game menus anyway?
I'd be glad if it worked in MP. At least in Nox Quest, it wouldn't be cheating. |

Can anyone help me finding FOV memory address? Toca's hack doesn't work, and there is no other way to change FOV in game. |

LOL It works on 1152x864 and VideoSize 100 without crashes
Sucks, but better than nothing.
BTW all these tricks do not work in multiplayer. Should be another check for it. |

Got it working on 1280x1024 with another exe.
Crashes for me too, when interacting with objects. Bad news: it doesn't even load on 1920x1080, 1600x900 and even 1400x1050. Buggy 1280x1024 seems to be it's maximum :? |

Doesn't work for me either. The game resets to 1024x768
Saruman, Are you using the latest 1.2b version with Nox Quest installed? |

"VideoMode" where game stores resolution settings.
You could try modifing these lines and see if that helps
Editing these values makes no difference, I already tried this in the first place. You can write there whatever you want, the game will still use 1024x768 |

I tried to change res directly in memory, using CheatEngine (similar to ArtMoney, but has much more features) and got nothing but stretched interface and bugged picture  Obviously it's not gonna work. I don't see any other way but to disassemble and "crack" the game.exe but I have no idea how t... |
