It was both the question of desktop space and the fact that 27" WS monitors are huge. It would be far too much peripheral view.
As you can see, I now have them overlapping the bezels, meaning that I loose half the gap between the screen surfaces. |

| I have a cable that is DP in one end and Dual Link DVI in the other end. It works great when used with the DVI end in the monitor and the DP in the computer. I tired of being afraid of the monitors falling over everytime something bumped the desk.

| You are absolutely right. It was somewhat of a shock to me when I realized. I couldn't believe a monitor of that expense did not have rotational options.
