Hello everyone This is something which bothers me quite a bit, and that is that this site still does not support https. This is really bad since the password when logging in will be sent in clear text over an unsafe connection (Firefox even warns about this). I know getting a SSL certificate in the ...

Not sure why it says: Ultra-Widescreen Grade: Unsupported... UWS is supported but it's pillarboxed and limited to 16:9. I haven't tested it myself but added a link to a reddit comment which says so. This would also be logical if you look at MM screenshot. Also if you create screenshots with the buil...

Hey totto2k, I haven't seen something like this before... My first guess would be that something related to the refresh rates of the monitors is causing this. Because it's also happening during normal Windows usage. Does it occur as well if you disable surround? What monitor models are you using? Ch...

Hmm, well as a quick fix here are all the plugins: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/464 ... lugins.zip

Just copy the folders in to your FWS installation directory and restart FWS.

I had the same issue. Mine was solved by disabling my antivirus software and then running the update.

You beat me to it Revy ;) but the game should be 16:9 anamorphic, not stretched. You must set both the resolution AND the aspect ratio manually from the options menu. Haha, yeah I saw your post so I went ahead and created it. (Hope you don't mind...) Also thank you very much for pointing out that I...

thanks for the feedback. :) the loading, especially of cutscenes seems to be a little unstable to me. maybe thats because im making "release" and not "final" builds... can you try to load/start a game with 16:10 a few more times? if it still crashes can you try manually setting ...

After quite some time I've finally added my list of modifications to the DR so you can all have a look at it. (Also added the already modded files for 5760x1080 and 5760x1200) I'm really sorry for the delay but I still hope it helps some people out, so enjoy! (Maybe someone can add it to the FOV cal...

Hey Wobak

Really cool to see some love for those old games! I even found my old NOLF2 CD case and it's still working. :rockout:

As for some testing, whenever I try to start the game with 1920x1200 (16:10) it crashes on the loading screen. It works when using 1920x1080.

Cheers

Just wanted to let you know that HaYDeN has released a plugin for Contrast with the latest Flawless Widescreen version. This should solve all the problems, like pillarboxing, HUD elements and FOV. (Get it here: http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/ ) So I'd strongly advise everyone to use it if you wan...

Mate I can't get your fov fix to work - did you have to try it a few times? When I looked at it, I could only change the aspect ratio from X to Y. So when you press L while in game nothing happens? To be honest it really just worked for me. Maybe someone else here owns the game and can confirm whet...

Hey Whitestar I'm having quite a few issues updating nvidia drivers as well. (A lot of programs crashing with a memory access error during install.) But it always seems to install fine after that. What driver are you trying to install and did you try disabling surround and install the driver using o...
