Does that mean it's using a single scaler to only get 30Hz?
IMHO still not worth it as not 60Hz or higher, just got to wait for the tech to get there.... it won't take long to get there, I hope anyway |

Baldur - I thought current DP 1.2 had enough bandwidth for 4k and thought it was the scalers in the monitor that couldn't handle 4k yet. That was what I said, in somewhat bad way. Not sure which chip in the chain inside the monitors is the problem. If DP 1.2 didn't have enough bandwidth, how would ... |

On the topic of 4k I know the original set had to be two dvi connectors is this the same if using display port? The 780ti the Evga version has one DP two DVI and one hdmi. If I "was" going to get a 4k monitor at this moment I would have to use the two dvi is that correct or can you use one... |

They could go VA panel which is in between IPS and TN. You said they may not be part of the UltraSharp range although their name begs to differ. As you said they have reduced the price somehow, but is this not just the way tech goes it's gets cheaper to a point to produce. Then you start seeing size... |

Hey Guys guess I'm going to ask another coding question, this however is to do with the display of the group "rank images" in the userbox and member list. was this custom written for WSGF or a mod Either way could you point me in the right direction as I would like to use it for my forums :) |

Keep forgetting that there are still a lot of hours in the day even when I hit midnight here
GMT+1 ( due to it being British Summer Time) so technically 13 hours from then it the end of the day....yes timezones are needed but they do suck |

I don't have a lot of experience with different switches, but can say that I love the Cherry MX Blues and I absolutely prefer mechanical to membrane keyboards. The blues are very tactile and very clicky. You can hear me typing from just about anywhere in my home and I frequently get comments about ... |

If you have a screenshot it would help a lot. I do however think the are seeing the right image. The idea of triplewide is give you peripheral vision which would nornally be stretched. Its to simulate how things look out of the corner of your eyes. An example is when playing an FPS in triplewide you... |

Interesting to know it didn't happen with Eyefinity, really seemed like something that would happen with both. I don't have that SecureBoot problem. I also did a fresh reinstall. This computer isn't UEFI though (older Rampage III Extreme). Bah, I hate that whole UEFI thing. I feel for you because i... |

The HUD is not working correctly on 3840x1024 resolution using AMD eyefinity. Both sides of the HUD is centered in the middle monitor and overlapping. I have got around this issue by using the console to disable the hud (hidehud 1), but it ruins the continuity of the game needing to check the map f... |
