| You're probably thinking of sync polarity. There's a long, technical explanation but basically unless the sync polarity is the same 3D Surround will not work at all and 2D surround may be janky. This is typically not an issue with starting from scratch, but can bite hard where - as you're proposing ... |

Thank you very much indeed, that's extremely helpful. The bezels on my current U23H11s are ~15mm per-screen for a total gap between panels of ~3cm, so either way it'll be an absolute upgrade. And not losing warranty on a $1k piece of kit is a fairly pressing consideration  |
