Read Full Detailed Report - Civilization III

Civilization III is a turn based strategy game from Firaxis Games and Infogrames. The basis of Civ 3, like in the previous two, is building a civilization from a primitive tribe to a modern empire, developing cities, technology, and culture, and conquering weaker empires while making peace with stronger ones.

If it's not there, just create a file with the same name. Make sure that visible file extensions are turned on, or you won't be able to save it properly.

I have a moniter with a resolution of 1440x900.

Its a Hanns-G HW191D

Anyways, I tested out Civ 3 in 1440x900.

It works, though a few things I noticed, I will post with screenshots.

The game doesn't seem to move the boxes approprietly. You can see in the Cultural Advisor box.

The HUD doesn't seem to stretch.

One other thing I noticed.

Civ 3 puts bars in the left and right in certain menus. It did that in the city menu, Main menu, and Im sure there is others.

Hope this helps!

I don't understand what you mean by that.

Yes, I covered that in the report.

And the top and bottom too (if your horizontal res is higher than 768). I also covered that in the report.

Its not that it doesnt do it right, it just doesnt move the box over to the extra space, where I would of liked it to be, as you can see in this screenshot.
