The mektek site is completely toasted ATM. Here's an alternate link to the torrent (the actual game): LINK Plenty of seeds. The MTX file can be extracted with a regular zip program. I can launch the game but it gets stuck in a minimized state on my taskbar and refuses to maximize. Res and window tweaks haven't worked so far. If anyone figures this out please post here. |

Have you gotten it to work on a single screen? No luck with that either. I've also tried disabling background processes, D3DWindower, forcing the window position/size...nada. |

seems like cool stuff, though unfortunately I never got around to making torrents work with my firewall/NAT configuration |

Somebody posted the files in Megaupload and Filefront. You can find them in the last post of this thread: http://www.mektek.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=156386 I've got it working in 1920x1200 on my system. What I did was download and install the MTX installer. Run the installer and set the default game location. The MTX application takes forever to run, and crashes a lot. Be patient. Rather than using MTX for the downlaod, I just grabbed them via torrent (3 files: The main game, plus two updates). I ran the MTX utility and did File | Open .mtx file and pointed it to the main file. It will verify the checksum, then install the game. I then did the same thing with both of the updates. Once the updates were installed, it worked fine in WS. Some people were having trouble with the game. It is suggested that after doing the base install, you run the game. If it works and you get to the "create account" screen (or whatever it's called), exit. If it doesn't work, create a shortcut to the executable. Add "/gosnovideo" to the end of the launch link in the shortcut and try that. Then install the updates via the MTX app. BTW, that option turns off the intro videos.

any chance you can post two comparison shots, from the same location. one would be at 1600x1200 and the other at 1920x1200 (and 1920x1080 if you can get it). |

any chance you can post two comparison shots, from the same location. one would be at 1600x1200 and the other at 1920x1200 (and 1920x1080 if you can get it). Nope. I tried to do one at 1600x1200, but it defaulted to 640x480. 1920x1080 is not an option. |

i just installed it, and 1920x1080 is not available in the list...
