Read Full Detailed Report - Guns of Icarus Online

Guns of Icarus Online is an online multi-player FPS. The game is set in a steampunk world where players take on one of three roles on a dirigible (airship). The roles are gunner, mechanic and captain. Players fire guns on the dirigible, attempting to shoot down their opponent's ships. Matches are in teams of 3-4 ships per side (red vs. blue). Players mount the large guns and pilot them from a first person perspective. They can also repair damaged guns and ship components.

Somehow I doubt this is an A multimonitor graded...If you look closely at the HUD ..you can see it spanned across the screen....and for me that is definitely an "affect gameplay" issue.... and a "Silver Medal..."

Do I make a mistake?

Oh damn, that would be me giving it an A medal for multimon. I'm sorry :(

I edited that when I just came back from a game, and imo it's one of the games I have with the best multimon experience. The most important HUD elements are centered anyway, and people use voice anyway. Never text. And regarding ammo, it doesn't really matter much as the gun autoreloads. It's just fire when you're able to fire.

I just find it a bit harsh to immediately stamp "affects gameplay" on it, as it really doesn't imo. There are other games which deserve that statement way more, where you will find skillbars on the sidemonitors, a minimap in the entire leftcorner of the screen and such...Icarus just plays very well in multimon.

But hey, who am I of course, a noob here. If you think it falls under "minor issues" and "affects gameplay", be my guest. If you want to discuss it in real time, you can find me on the IRC usually.

HUD is not stretched, but placed on far edges of the screen.
The 'damage indicators' are also not at the edge of the screen. Most of the time they don't show up, sometimes they show up in a 'ring' that moves as you look around.
