Thanks.

On a 3440x1440 it is playable but even the UI seems to be low-res (because of the stretching? I don't know). I hope this and the performance issues will get fixed soon.

The game doesn't actually render correctly in Ultra-wide screen. Not only are the HUD's stretched but it's actually rendering much lower than whatever resolution you choose. I have to use DSRx4 (6880x2880) to get a native 3440x1440 resolution out of the game.

5760 x 1200 here using 3 x Samsung T240. Unplayable UI

Does it run well with that much DSR? Given that the game is already a mess at 3440x1440 (I have 1070 on a brand new PC)

This is the case for any aspect ratio. The game's running at about half of what it should be. Anything outside of 16:9 also has a broken UI.

Not even close.

Probably why it's upsampling in the first place.. optimized like arse.

I wouldn't say unplayable at all, I'm dealing with it currently the best that I can and it is fully functional though, incredibly stretched. Have not had any issues with it that make it unplayable yet.

My assessment is in line with Grittenald. This game was a huge stream release but there does not seem to be much interest in these forums. Thinking a fix may be far off.

Works okay with my Eyefinity setup @ 5760x1080. It ain't perfect but certainly wouldn't say it's "Unplayable" and to me it's still preferable than playing on a single monitor.

Update:

http://nomansskymods.com/

PEOPLE ARE FIXING THE DAMN GAME.

We may see a UI fix soon: http://nomansskymods.com/forums/topic/ultrawide-ui-fix/

Until then, here's some of the core mods..

http://nomansskymods.com/mods/internal-resolution-multipliers-pak/ <-- big one, no more need to DSR, though the framerate loss is basically the same. Has been fixed; can be used to downsample though.

http://nomansskymods.com/mods/chromatic ... s-removal/ <-- removes the atrocious 'visor' effects.

http://nomansskymods.com/mods/fast-actions/ <-- goodbye asinine click hold functionality

Optional:

http://nomansskymods.com/mods/lens-flare-remover/

http://nomansskymods.com/mods/instagram-filter-remover/
