Hi friends, this is my first post, so first of all big "HI", i got my self fallout 3 last night. Awesome but since i have a slower VGA Card i can only run it smoothly on 4:3 resolutions such as 800X600, the lowest wide screen resolution it runs is 16:9 1280X720 as far as i recall. I was just wandering if there is a way to run it in a lower wide screen resolution such as 852X480, I tried and it gave me a error. Anyone know how to do this? thanks a billion!

If you need other solutions, the master game list is in the panel to the left on WSGF:

More and more "modern" games cannot be run at resolutions below a 720px height... I don't think there's any workaround for such an engine limitation. :?

Yep i guess so, you are right, I tried everything i can, either overclock my card to run it 1280X720 or run it in 4:3 or run it on 1280X720 with low frame rates, i guess i have to choose one, i rather run it on 800X600 4:3 full smooth. :)

A lot of games won't take a resolution if it is not in your desktop resolution list.

Have you added 852X480 as a custom resolution to your desktop?

I can't find a method but somebody did explain about something called Powerstrip, yes it did work but i don't get it in standard windows resolution changer, only Pstrip can change the resolution, I'll google about it and see. :)
