Console-style, action, traditional pc, I don't care.

I am starving for some newer PC rpgs. I will be getting the Witcher soon.

No online crap.

Someone name me something decent I don't have. Please.

Find yourself some emulator :?:

But if it has to be a pc rpg i can think of this list:

Fable
Oblivion
Fallout
Final fantasy 7 & 8 (I know crappy port)
Gothic serie
Hello kitty online (j/k)
Neverwinter Nights
Titan Quest
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

And more

Arcanum, just make sure you switch to turn based battles in the options and to install the latest patch.

IF you have an xbox 360, Mass Effect, the game is sublime.

Hm.

PC RPGs... that's not hard.

New PC RPGs... that's the hard bit. ;)

...

I'd go back and play Morrowind again. ;)

Unfortunately I have all those. :(

Just PC at this point.

MMOs have taken a big chunk out of the PC SP RPG stock.

I've seen a little bit about a game called "Hard to Be a God" for PC. There's a demo out. I haven't played it myself.

"Depths of Peril" is really good. It's new but done by a small independent company so it looks older than Diablo I... but the gameplay is an interesting mix of Diablo and Civilization.

Dink Smallwood is a great freeware RPG that I just noticed got updated in 2006. I might have to go back and play this again.

I suppose I should be grateful that Microsoft owns the 360 as well as Windows.

How sad that the good old days of the PC RPG buffet have left us.

Are you including Adventure games?
If so, Psychonauts is supposed to be awesome . . . I played the demo, loved it, but I have not bought it yet. :(

Hellgate: London, mainly an online RPG; but you can play it singleplayer.

I have to second Titan Quest; I really liked it but then stopped playing for some reason. If you do get it, make sure to get the expansion as it updates/fixes a lot of things.
I think I started playing Wii and my DS a lot (Twilight Princess and Lunar Knights :) ) then never got back to it.

Overlord.
I have not actually played it, but I want to; it seems pretty cool and unique, at least a little bit.

It's really hard to find good, new RPGs; it's mainly all about RTS and FPS right now. All the good, new RPGs are for the consoles.

Psychonauts is a cleverly disguised platform game.

Titan Quest is a cleverlly disguised action game.

:-p

Hellgate:London is an action game with RPG elements with graphics from the 90's.

Good games in their own way I guess.

But they do not belong in the Adventure category, just FYI. :)
