Late night discovery... and it could become an indie cult classic. Looks like a fairly generic FPS (of the "empty big square rooms" type), except it has "partially nude" pole dancers as an incentive bonus for those who'll pay 20 bucks. http://mobtiesgame.com/ It's not on Steam, it has no DRM, it was developed by a two-man (err... -person) team and has nvidia/X-Fi/Alienware logos all over it. And the trailer reminds me of 007 Nightfire, go figure. Widescreen support is unknown at the moment, because I didn't crack and buy it on the spot. |

I liked the part where the girl did the splits upside down. |

I find it ridiculous they are charging 33% more for the version with nudity. |

20$ for a non-Steam game is a pretty decent price, so see it the other way : the censored version's cheaper. :) That "pole cartwheel" is amazing indeed. I'm afraid it's not meant for you to try and shoot her legs though. Pity ! |

20$ for a non-Steam game is a pretty decent price, so see it the other way...It's cheap, but not out of the ordinary for an sp only indie game with simplistic level design and extremely low overhead dev crew. The price set almost always reflects the quality of a game too when they're considerably lower in price than mainstream ones. My comment though wasn't intended to remark on the overall price point, but rather their charging a considerably higher percentage on the version with nudity. It's no doubt a gimmick to sell a lot of the Mature versions. |

They gave away too much in the trailer. After seeing the pole-split I have no need to buy the game. ;) because I didn't crack and buy it on the spot. Ahhh...does that explain the flood of DR's coming off your desk? ;) |

Writing DRs is a nice new orientation to my "compulsive game collector" profile. Spending 10~20$ a month in indie/square/twisted games is good for the mood, too. Currently on my list : -Defense Grid, fun game with broken UI in TripleHead -Monster Trucks Nitro, a four-wheeled Trials2 with broken menu in TH (problem reported and should get fixed soon) -Hochseefischen, a german fisher ship sim soon to be released -Bikini Karate Babes 2, will it finally be ready soon ?? -Mob Ties : Tokyo, crappy hollow amateur work or unexpected gem ? |
