I am using Windows 7 x64 with an EVGA GTX480. I now have a new LG 32LE5400 LCD monitor.

In Windows pictures are ok but the text is terrible.

Tried ClearText thingie but it made no difference.
There is no useful info on the cd's that came with the unit.

I can't find a Windows 7 driver for it either.

The text also has white showing behind the black colors.

Ok, this tv just sucks on a PC!

I tried the Scan thingie, which works, but the problem is not the resolution it's the clarity of text and graphics.
What does help a little is turning down the Sharpness.

As a tv it's great.
So I am keeping my LG W2753VC on the PC.

Thank all for trying to help.

:? When you say white showing behind the black text , that sounds like it's ' ghosting ' . How is your monitor connected to your PC ? DVI ( Digital ) ? D-Sub ( Analogue ) ? HDMI ?

No it's not ghosting, I know what that looks like. This is on the desktop and in IExplorer.
In games such as Stalker the graphics are terrible too.

Using the HDMI cable that came with the GTX480.
I have been trying to find a W7x64 driver for this tv but no joy.

Haven't found any setting in W7 that makes a difference.

However movies are aok.

couple things to check when connecting a HDTV to your PC,

- that the HDTV is set to a 1:1 pixel mapping. if i remember correctly is called "Just Scan" on LG's
- make sure that in your Nvidia control panel (or CCC for you ATI guys), you have the "over scan" turned off

if either one of those are no right, either the TV or the video card is going to be doing some sort of scaling, which will
make images & text soft/blurry.

i remember on my Panasonic plasma when i plugged it in, my 5870 automatically added like 10% overscanning,
and looked like crap until i turned it back down to no overscan.

let me know if it helps. I'm seriously considering that same TV to connect to my little Media Server/Xbox/PS3

These two, particularly the first one, are essential for nVidia users wanting to use HDTVs - for some reason all my ATi based systems output perfectly to HDTVs via HDMI, but my nVidia Ion based HTPC screws up badly - horrific overscan and mangled text - without Just Scan enabled.
