Once I get my hands on the game, I'll see how it goes for 5760x1200. Hopefully the HUD is centered, and there's no letterboxing.

I'm having serious FPS issues with my installation, running an R9 290X2 and I'm getting below 10FPS in game. It's terrible! :-(

EDIT: Running an Eyefinity setup with a bezel corrected resolution of 6048 x 1170.

They are not pre-rendered, but the anti-cheat situation is a unknown, I've already fixed it for my own use @ 5760x1080 [offline]... didn't know wither anyone would actually care about it tbh.

I don't really care about the cut scenes being fixed, but if you fixed the issues with bezel correction and the HUD being slightly obscured it's totally worth the risk IMO. It's super annoying with an otherwise pretty much blemish-free triple screen experience.

You can adjust that in Settings -> Display -> Safezone Size, reduce it slightly.

Is there anyway to fix the HUD on 2560x1080? Messing with the safezone settings doesn't really do much here.

Okay, this is weird, there's definitly a problem here. I just ran the game on a single screen at a resolution of 1920x1200. Still only getting between 10-20fps... what the hell? I've basically got two R9 290s in this machine and it can only put out 10FPS!? This gfx card should be chewing up the game and vommiting out the frames like there's no tomorrow!

@Lufferov I had that happen when I tried to override the GTAV profile in the AMD CC. Removing the custom GTAV.exe profile made mine go back to running well. Make sure your running the 15.4 beta driver?

I'm super impressed by the nvsurround support and performance. :twothumb:
I run a i7 [email protected] and 3xSli 580 3GB. Most settings maxed out except using FXAA and PostFX to normal. nvidias Soft shadows SSPC is turned ON.
The game really utilize all the CPU cores and Sli GPU usage looks even and well used, and texture streaming is really fast and smooth, I run the game and OS on separate SSD's.
Gonna be fun to tinkle with the the settings even more to find my sweet spot.
Only thing i've noticed or that annoys me is that the sound is to low in my G36 headset. Its OK when using my Home Cinema Surround as external Speakers though :D
Impressed, easily the best game in loong time for me. Rockstar really rocks! :rockout:

Hey, just came up with an idea. Why not send a WSGF cake to Rockstars office?
To show some appreciation for actually support our stuff? :D

Excellent, delighted to see it runs well in surround. Thanks all for posting above. Since it came out I have avoided playing on console, barely skimmed and reviews, and avoided any articles/discussion on the characters story line etc. I was nervous the multi monitor was going to be a crock of sh!t..looks like 780 SLI should do nicely as well.

Time to pick up a copy and say goodbye to the missus for a few weeks

I'll chip in for a cake as well. :onethumb:

Should be fine. I'm on Surround 16:10 also, no letterboxing. I really can't find a blemish in the triple-screen support.

Hayden has released a plugin to remove the letter-boxing in the cutscenes. Sadly it doesn't work for me (letter-boxing is still there when the fix is enabled). I am running the game at 2560x1080.
